Whimsical Wedding Ideas with Baroque Red & Gold Styling

These whimsical wedding ideas truly speak to my heart, think cool banners, epic styling and fabulous florals all round. A really visionary team collaborated at Bellows Mill in Bedfordshire to bring us this divine ethereal style editorial all captured perfectly by Charlotte Lucy Photography.

There is so much to love and be inspired by; dramatic flowers in pink and red hues, sensational attire and statement cakes. The table dripping with ivy and the tree adorned with vintage lampshades and festoon lights really sets the tone. Candles are scattered throughout the tablescape complete with elegant stationery and cherubs. Do also look out for the cute car and horse box bar, a must have for vintage loving quirky couples. Whimsical Wedding Ideas

Today I’m very excited to share with you a recent shoot I organised. The shoot took place in the idyllic lakeside venue Bellows Mill in Eaton Bray on 18th July 2020. I was very lucky to work with a lovely bunch of suppliers who all worked so hard to bring you this gorgeous unique shoot.

Our Stylist Hayley from Starry Eyed Weddings based in Essex came up with a the stunning mood board with a nod to vintage glamorous Italian baroque style featuring gold detail and cherubs.

Our bride wore a really special gown by SH Brides who are based in London and create magical gowns and accessories that are relaxed, comfortable, free-spirited and above all, a natural extension of their individuality. Hand-made and completely bespoke, the label uses ethereal fabrics, intricate laces, dreamy and bohemian touches with a softer, more natural approach to silhouette.

Danica Zurawel was our hair stylist creating a timeless style which worked beautifully and then later looked wonderful with the addition of a vintage flower head piece.

The flowers were also created by Starry Eyed Weddings, who choose bold romantic blooms that were perfect for the shoot.

The stunning main cake was made by super talented wedding cake maker Angela Hodson Jones who is based in Hertford.

The whimsical romantic table was styled with foliage, flowers, brass candle sticks and beautiful tableware from CMA Hire. The set was created around a large tree into which colourful festoon lights and vintage lampshades were strung with colourful ribbons. Hayley’s vision for the shoot included the “you’re a dream come true” banner, cherub chair backs and table numbers.

The delightful mini cakes and biscuits were provided by luxury wedding cake makes Iced Cake Delights based in Bedfordshire.

The beautiful stationery was provided White Orchid Print And Design who created a design which we felt really tied in so perfectly with the style and feel of our shoot.

We were also joined by Triple White Weddings who brought along their fabulous VW Beetle and the Heritage Horsebox Bar for refreshments.
