It’s been a significant week in our home as my husband has now left shift work and is now working regular hours each week. It’s going to take some adjustment but I think and hope that’s it going to be great for us all. I am so proud of G I could burst. We’re recovering from half term and are full steam ahead into our usual routine. We’ve finally got the carpentry finished in our hall and landing, once we’ve finished the woodwork painting we can lay the carpet, hooray! It really has dragged this project I can tell you. My flower beds are all planted and now it’s just a waiting game to see how they grow. I even planted up my old pink shower tray with sweet peas and sunflowers, which does add a touch of fun to our garden. At the weekend I took the boys to the local splash park and made use of our National Trust membership by having an afternoon at Wimpole Hall. It was so nice to have some down time together.

We’ve also been busy behind the scenes working on a new look for Whimsical Wonderland Weddings, so stay tuned! Plus Rachel headed to the ultra glam launch of Alexandra Pisani at the Corinthia Hotel in, London which you may have spotted on Instagram stories – what a treat. Did you see our feature on alternative engagement rings? So much pretty! This weekend we actually have zero plans which is kind of nice, so I am not sure what we’ll be doing. Whatever you are up to, I hope you have a lovely week guys.
