I don’t even know where to start! Let me begin by wishing you well and I hope you are safe. It’s crazy how life can change in a single month, looking back on last month’s news post makes me feel really sad. It certainly makes me realise just how much I take for granted and how the simple things matter most. I want to send every single one of you a great big virtual hug, whether you are wedding planning, a wedding supplier or are here just for the fun of it, we are all in this together. If you didn’t see I made a really hard decision for WWW, which means this will be the last news post from me for 3 months 😔

It’s been an emotional roller-coaster if I am honest, but more so as I myself have been pretty poorly for almost two weeks now. I have had all the COVID-19 symptoms, but I have not had to seek medical help and have not been tested. We’ve been in self isolation for two weeks now. But I think I am now over the illness (if it was the virus) and am feeling much better, so I am hopeful to be able to feel happier now I am able to be doing normal stuff around the home and garden. My mental health been under immense strain, especially when I was feeling poorly. I was having panic attacks which I have not had in years, not nice. But I want to take positives from this experience and use it to make me a stronger, more resilient person.

Home-schooling has been interesting to say the least! I have two little boys, one is 10 and at middle school and one is 5 and at lower school. They are poles apart in every way, especially when it comes to where they are in their education journey. I am no teacher, but I have to say that we’ve been super lucky with their schools sending out loads of work for us to keep them occupied and learning. I am still doing some blog posts too, so fitting in these is a little tricky, but I’d rather be busy than not right now.

On my list of to dos in the coming weeks is Spring cleaning the house, sorting and organising and plenty of gardening for good measure. Plus I am hoping we are able to do some DIY around the house with the supplies we have in the garage fingers crossed. We are also lucky to live in a village with lovely surrounding fields where we can walk, cycle and run. Fingers crossed we have settled and pleasant weather! I also have loads of flower and vegetable seeds to get planted and I can’t wait to get cracking with growing those.

Onto weddings. How can I help you guys? What do you need from WWW right now, whether you are wedding planning OR a wedding supplier. We have our Facebook group which I am now going to actively promote again to help set up a community for you guys. Please note this is just for couples wedding planning right now. Please answer the questions then I can accept your request and use it as a place to talk all things wedding in a fun, kind and helpful way ☺️

MIKI Studios

Mick and Ash, the guys from MIKI Photography and long term sponsors of WWW have changed things up a little. They have formed MIKI Studios, London wedding photography and videography studio!

Mick, the founder of the company has moved to videography allowing Ash to step into the lead photographer shoes that Mick is leaving behind. In the very short time, Mick has been filming weddings, he is taking the industry by storm making the finals of European Wedding Videographer of the year (Way Up North), we expect him to win this when the awards are announced later this month.

As Mick has transitioned to film (London Wedding Videographer) and Ash is the lead photographer, MIKI Studios are now offering photo and film under the same brand giving couples the same great experience from photography but with the visual experience of the film all under MIKI Studios. We are so excited to see what they produce together.

We (Karina 19 and Adel 23) have been sharing our music by singing live on our balcony at 3 PM starting yesterday, today, and will be doing this for the foreseeable future.

We have received so much support, with people wanting to send wishes to those in isolation all over the world.

We both really want to help boost morale, for all those in isolation, those who still can leave home, but are too afraid to go out and everyone who feels down. There are people like us, who suffer with anxiety, there are people who have depression, and many people who are panicking. That’s who we’re doing this for, and why we want to share our music.

It’s such an honour to have the support of the public, who have been sharing and adding their comments on our video on Facebook, and so far we have reached people in lockdown, in Spain, Italy and further afield. The response has been overwhelming.

We have been performing since young children in a harp and vocal duo called 2 of Harps, and know the power of music through all our community work, which we have received an award for. It reaches everyone, whether young or old. With music, you don’t have to speak the same language to be understood, because if you are real, those who listen will feel it. Doing something for other people is something we have both grown up with.

Our inspiration came from watching the people of Italy in isolation. We felt the passion, and wanted to do something, to show as British people, we care, we hear their music, and we want to do something to help.

We may not be able to help physically, but as one person in our video comments wrote, our music really is helping with mental health, as well as taking thoughts away from their physical pain. This is exactly what we have set out to do.
