Hello August! Isn’t the summer just flying by? You may have noticed that we skipped last week’s post, but we’re back in full force this afternoon. It’s the summer holidays and in an attempt to spend as much time as possible with my boys our schedule may get a little shaken up until normal routine and service resumes in September. So the past couple of weeks have been all about summer fun with my two little boys who are 8 and 3. We’ve done trips to the splash park, craft activities, bike rides, walks and woodland exploring so far. In amongst working and the usual errands to run of course. I think they are enjoying themselves so far. I am also proud as punch that my garden and in particular, my dahlias are blooming. We have harvested dahlias, sweet peas and runner beans from our veggie patch too, nothing beats home-grown bounty I can tell you. We’re also about to embark on a new project, yes I am never one not to have a project on the go, designing a play area for the boys at the bottom of our garden. Wish me luck! This week we’re hopeful of squeezing in a couple of day trips and also make the most of our National Trust membership before it expires. Plus I hope we make a start on the aforementioned climbing frame/den for the boys. Summer days for the win.

So this week’s edition is jammed packed and I am sure you are going to really love all of this real wedding loveliness.
