Excuse my slang here, but how *bloody* cute is this couple!!?? What a fun loving, sweet and funky pair they are and i so love these images, there personalities shine right through.
Thanks so much to the lovely UK based wedding photographer, Lucy Jane Photography for sharing these delightful images with us today, here is what she had to say about the shoot;
“As this was my first official ‘couples shoot’, it was I who contacted Edd and Amy, not the other way around. The shoot itself also became much larger than your average engagement shoot because of this. I wanted lots of locations and different shots so that I could accomplish all the ideas I had in my head, and so that I could show what I can do. Edd and Amy graciously agreed to this, and were naturals in front of the camera! (Although there was the odd squeal of “Oh no, but she can see us!!” whenever I requested a kiss from them!)
Edd and Amy themselves are an immensely strong and happy couple, who just reached the 4 year mark. Having spent 3 of those 4 years living in separate parts of the country, they are a testament to dedication, perseverance and true love. It was only just over a month ago that Edd and Amy finally moved in together, and their joy of being around each other still has not rubbed off. It shows best through the camera in their laughter and giant grins, which I couldn’t keep off their faces! In fact trying to get a serious face from them was the hardest part of the shoot! However this fitted my style beautifully, resulting in what I like to think are simple, joyous images with a quirky edge. This also fitted perfectly with the chosen locations- places local to us in Cornwall; the beach, castle ruins, and a public garden with an island of giant rhubarb! We also chose to include Edd’s guitar a bit, as he is teaching Amy how to play.”
