As a hairstylist it isn’t often I get creative control of a whole concept, so I was incredibly excited to plan a shoot, and it definitely exceeded all my expectations!

We had the privilege of creating a stunning romantic, alternative boho themed shoot at a wedding venue nestled on the outskirts of Somerset with so much creative potential. Waterside Country Barn offers a beautiful barn with stunning grounds framed by a river, a little lake, Air BnB huts and a waterside decking!

We got to work alongside an incredible team of suppliers who all have a huge passion for what they do and offer something for the more alternative couples who want to embrace something a little different with a fun and relaxed boho wedding theme.

The bride’s look was kept natural with gorgeous natural tones used for makeup, hair was kept loose with soft waves and infinity braids created by me and beautifully complimented by a flower crown and a stunning lace detailed dress.

From the crescent moon structure at the top the aisle surrounded by dried flowers, to the doughnut wall and vintage camper van photo booth, even a small boat trip on the lake, the shoot showcased that couples who want to embrace the non traditional options can still create an incredible carefree romantic wedding day and have a lot of fun with the concept!
