These ethereal and beautiful images today are courtesy of a team of Midlands based wedding creatives. They came together to collaborate on this inspirational editorial shoot with a vintage glam concept and a rose gold and pink palette. Oh yes, this is what wedding dreams are made of.
There were elegant and glamorous gowns, sequins all round, striking bridal looks, luxe florals and beautiful styling. You are going to want to pin every single image today.
Thanks so much to Ivory Fayre for sharing these wonderful shots.
“We wanted to produce images that were a contemporary take on vintage-glam, were a little bit dreamy and a whole lot of pretty! We chose a rose gold and pink colour palette, a key wedding trend for SS 2106 and we played with texture in the clothes and set design using finishes like sequins and feathers.
Our shoot took place at Warwick House in Southam, a beautiful venue with soft-toned décor, big windows and plenty of natural light. It’s a venue we as suppliers all work at regularly and we knew it’d be the perfect backdrop for the images we wanted to create. The staff there are always amazing and we had use of their huge dressing room to get the models ready in before heading over to the main house to begin the shoot.
Chris and Tara of Ivory Fayre wedding photography were the talents behind the lens on the day! Ivory Fayre specialise in unique, contemporary, reportage style photography. Chris also works regularly within the fashion industry and that background always influences his work.”
“The dresses were provided by the super-lovely Rachel and Ashley of Rachel Ash brides in Atherstone and they brought along the most beautiful, ethereal selection of gowns for us to choose from; delicate lace, silks, embroidery and shimmering fabric which perfectly fitted the vintage theme but still felt really contemporary.”
“The flowers were created by Fran from Francesca Alice Floral Design. Fran did an amazing job, creating centrepieces, bouquets and a flower crown in muted pastels offset with deeper colours.”
“Venue décor was a collaborative effort between Helen of Honey Bees Vintage Teas and Beth at The Wedding and Events Lounge. Two other completely lovely ladies who both stock the most gorgeous props, centrepieces, china, tablecloths, chair covers and pretty much anything you can think of to prettify and personalise your venue! Beth also created the beautiful cakes which featured in the shoot.”
“This was a real collaboration of Midlands-based suppliers who are some of the loveliest, most professional people you could hope to find! All of the ladies and gents involved are fab at their jobs, passionate about what they do and really care about providing an amazing service for their couples and hopefully that love of their work is something that comes across in the images from the day.”
