Do you know what I love about this shoot set at Tuffon Hall Vineyard? The fact that it could be held at any time of the year or in any season. It’s just so flexible, the wild greenery theme complete with earthy tones, that no matter your wedding season you can take inspiration from it.
The barn was decorated beautifully with a long table taking centre stage, which was draped in festoon lights, foliage, twinkling candles and surrounded by a joyous wedding party enjoying a range of delicious treats. It really evokes a warm, welcoming and loving atmosphere. The styling and flowers by Starry Eyed Weddings are just magnificent, I mean that natural seasonal bouquet just screams style. Then there are the stylish outfits, fabulous hair and make up and a cake table bursting with pretty bakes. Amazing. All of these wonderful wedding ideas were captured beautifully by Three Flowers Photography, wow!
Greenery Earthy & Twinkling Wedding Ideas
SHOOT INSPIRATION & STYLING Starry Eyed Weddings
We wanted to create a wedding that could inspire couples planning at any time throughout the year.
Our Aim: A timeless neutral palette of greenery and earthy tones to compliment the backdrop of the beautiful barn. The dress needed to be feminine but understated to allow the styling, flowers and venue to set the scene. We wanted to convey an appealing and trend aware style, without slavishly following anything avant garde or brash. Our signature look is always wild, warm and very romantic!
THE VENUE The Cellar Door, Tuffon Hall Vineyard.
Tuffon Hall is a modern, boutique vineyard in the heart of East Anglia and they produce elegant, award-winning wines.
Producing wine since 2014, the family have been working this land for four and a half generations.
The most recent addition is The Cellar Door- a 16th century threshing barn. After a huge restoration project this beautiful barn is a perfect wedding venue for all seasons.
We first visited the barn earlier this year and were immediately struck by it’s awe-inspiring interior. The drama of the high ceilings, the sense of space and the authenticity of the venue is incredible.
STYLING Starry Eyed Weddings
Keeping to a neutral and warm palette of nude and mink with some soft metallic gold. Hayley focused on the foliage and greenery to create a cosy and atmospheric scene.
Draped festoon lights, pressed flower tea light jars, collected Victorian glass bottles and lanterns were used to decorate the top table.
Wild bunches of mixed foliage were suspended overhead, creating a wild canopy effect.
Lush green fern was placed loosely along the table and allowed to cascade and fall.
Handmade ‘Husband’ & ‘Wife’ chair banners added a personal touch and a bit of fun.
Using a worn, distressed water colour paper for the table plan and menu, modern calligraphy featured throughout the stationery elements.
Oversized sequin garlands decorated the bar and set the tone for the evening reception.
FOOD Gather & Feast Events
Linda Hamilton, together with husband Rob are the creators of mouth watering menus and delicious dishes at Gather & Feast events. They included an antipasti grazing table, with a lemon and thyme chicken, salsa verde, herby crushed potatoes, asparagus, pea and goats cheese and oven roasted tomatoes and shallots with garlic mayo.
Sweet treats on offer were, lemon tart, burnt meringue or raspberry sorbet!
FLOWERS & BOUQUET Starry Eyed Weddings
In house florist Sacha LOVES wild style bouquets, incorporating an organic and untamed silhouette. So this was a dream! Always using seasonal flowers (unless briefed otherwise). It’s the best way to get the most value out of your budget and truly reflects the season you are married in. Hayley and Sacha wanted this to be a transitional shoot with easy and appealing combinations. Sacha combined delicate asparagus fern, dark aubergine grevillea, a single raspberry protea, dusky pink peonies and wild meadow style blooms too!
CUPCAKES Cup Cake Cindy
Cindy created simple vanilla cupcakes using high welfare ingredients, they were decorated with swiss buttercream swirls wild flowers to compliment the wedding cake.
WEDDING CAKE Kerry Ann’s Cake Boutique
It was important to let the greenery and foliage do the talking for the wedding cake, so a plain fondant iced backdrop was perfect.
Lots of wild flowers and draped foliage blended in seamlessly with the relaxed organic vibe of the styled venue. Subtle touches of soft gold added a luxurious feel and picked up the glistening sequin garland behind.
