Planning a Spring wedding? Look no further than the gorgeous Spring country garden wedding of WWW followers Jess and James, for seriously pretty inspiration! We’ve seen their winter wonderland barn wedding ceremony and now you’re in for a treat with their spring nuptials.
Jess and James had a glorious day at Cripps Barn in the Cotswolds, it was all stunning spring wedding flowers and sublime wedding cakes (Jess is the cake maker behind One Part Love Bakery). Not to mention the most stylish outfits, super cute pups and sensational wedding signs throughout. Wow!
Massive thanks to WWW wedding supplier fave Thyme Lane Photography for sharing with us these incredible images of such a special springtime wedding.
Embracing all things spring – country garden vibes. Laid back, relaxed, full of joy.

We had a ‘blessing’ ceremony which was very family orientated as we had already had a small legal ceremony in a church during covid.
Jess’ dad organised it and did the ceremony element, Jess’ brother did a reading along with James’ sister, and we walked down the aisle together with our two dogs. We wanted to break tradition as we technically got married in 2020 but never got our big day, so decided we would walk down the aisle together as Mr & Mrs Skinner rather than the traditional bride/father of the bride entrance.
We walked down the aisle to Florence & The Machine ‘Dog Days are Over’ which was a nod to the end of covid and that we had our two dogs with us… and also it’s one of our all-time favourite songs.
Everything in our ceremony had a lot of meaning.
At the start of the ceremony, we passed round our wedding rings and asked everyone to put their blessings, well wishes, prayers. Whatever meant something to them, on the rings as they were passed around. Every single person held our rings at our wedding before we put them back on as part of the ceremony.
We re-did our vows in front of our family and friends before putting the rings back on as a sign of recommitment and moving forward with everyone’s blessings for our life.
We exited together (with our dogs) to Fleetwood Mac Everywhere which was the song we also had during our covid mini ceremony.
DIY – all organised by the bride (Jess).
I particularly loved growing all the herbs that we put down the tables for our English spring country garden theme and collecting the vintage candle stick holders and bud vases.
The flowers we collected from a local flower farm the day before and we filled all the bud vases and dotted them down the tables.
Jess (or her business One Part Love) made the wedding favour biscuits.
