WWW followers Georgia and Charles are gracing our pages today with their South Farm wedding in Cambridgeshire, which was held on the 21st July 2019. I was smitten with their stylish celebrations as soon as I clapped eyes on the vibrant seasonal flowers, they really are just gorgeous. The blooms really add a super colourful dimension, which makes for such joyful images. I just love that they describe their day as “full of love, laughter and colour“, which really comes across in the stunning captures by Miracle Moments, for which I am so thankful to be sharing with you.
What else do I love? Well the bridesmaids dresses are just so pretty in shades of blue and lilac, they make a great statement teamed with the bouquets. Talking of dresses, Georgia’s Stella York gown looked just incredible on her complete with her floral veil, while Charles and the groomsmen looked dapper in green tweed suits.
Do also look out for some creative touches in the form of acrylic signs, a delicious cake table, smoke bombs and a personalised denim jacket. So very beautiful.
The Proposal
The first proposal was actually his first message to me!
The real one was set in New York. My favourite film is “Serendipity” – those who have seen this corker of a film will note the end scene is set in Central Park ice skating rink. Bearing this in mind, Charlie had grand plans of proposing mid-skate but was too scared of having a loose ring on the rink (especially as I’m the most clumsy person to walk/skate the earth), so he planned a romantic horse and cart trip around Central Park, in hope that a partially enclosed area may be a safer place to pop the question in. As soon as the ice skating rink was in sight he made the best and most expensive mistake of his life, by asking to marry moi.
The Vision
We wanted the day to reflect our personalities and relationship, we are extremely lucky to have had such kind and talented friends and suppliers willing to bend over backwards to make our vision come true, everyone did the most incredible job.
We fell in love with the venue as it represented everything about where we’re from and where we hope we’re headed in the future – the country venue tied in with where Charlie was brought up in Cambridgeshire, the stream was my tie with water, and Cornwall, where I grew up. And the farm lifestyle is something we aspire for our future to hold.
Once we found the venue, we started searching for suppliers. Molly (one of my best friends and bridesmaids) played and sung for us. Charlie’s friend Eoin, DJ’d for us. Gina baked our incredible cake and macaron tower. Rachel, who painted my delightful denim jacket and Frances my beloved hairdresser who helped me and my closest get their hair looking glamorous and fabulous. The rest of our suppliers were found from Instagram, one would often lead me to another. The main thing we looked for when considering our suppliers was a great attitude. The most important thing for us, was for our day to be full of love and positivity, and we wanted anyone who was going to have involvement to be full of that good stuff too.

The Planning Process
We started from the venue and then built everything around it.
Your Outfits & Accessories
I’m very lucky to say that my wedding dress was everything I had always imagined it would be, it was designed by Stella York and purchased from The Tailor’s Cat, Cambridge.
Charlie looked a vision in green tweed from Moss Bros.
Groomsmen
All groomsmen matched with Charlie.
Beauty
Our hair was done by my beloved hairdresser Frances White and our incredible makeup artist Elly @ellyjaynemakeup. Rather than set a specific style of hair for our bridesmaids, my priority was for them to feel good. The girls each chose what they wanted and looked incredible. We all went for a natural, glowy look for our makeup, Frances and Elly made us all feel a bit Beyoncé.
