We’re going all dark and dramatic this fine Sunday, courtesy of The Storyteller Celebrant who was behind the Snow White wedding inspiration concept, planning and styling and Joasis Photography who was the creator of the atmospheric images. What a feast for the eyes!
Here we have a bold deep red colour scheme featuring decadent flowers, whimsical calligraphy stationery, floral adorned cakes and a show stopping grazing table filled to the very brim with treats, all held at Patrick’s Barn. The bridal looks are just incredible, with a black tulle gown and a contrasting pretty floral gown by BRIDE By Aster taking centre stage. There were also beautiful accessories, veils, shoes and flawless hair and make up looks. I really think these awe inspiring Snow White inspired images will leave you with so many fantastic ideas today. Enjoy folks.
As a lover of the age old ‘Fairy-tale’ I was inspired to create something different, something that represents the idea that a celebrant led wedding can be whatever you wish it to be. I am passionate about my celebrant work and want to get the message out there that you CAN have your own unique wedding ceremony.
The concept was to bring innovative, creative ideas to the vision, with stunning dresses that capture the essence of a modern day fairy-tale. I had the idea of two sides to the story, a dark, and a light. At the end, they come together and feast.
The original stories told, were very dark. Tales of jealousy and enchantment, but also told of love, friendship, kindness and forgiveness.
The shoot took place at Patricks Barn in West Sussex which quite simply lends itself to so many styles as it is so diverse. We knew that down by the old stones would be perfect. The beautiful images were captured by Joasis Photogrpahy.
The stunning dresses are from BRIDE by Aster. When choosing dresses to fit the theme of the shoot, there was no competition. We needed dresses that were full of colour and totally unique.
We chose ESMEE from Dutch designer MODECA, which is a dramatic black and white layered tulle dress with navy & ivory applique detailing. The second dress is the oh-so-pretty and floral FLEUR by designer ANNY LIN.
The makeup was a natural look with a bold red lip, and the hair too, very natural, not over styled. The looks were created by the lovely Sylwia Kunysz MUA. The hair vine was handmade by Ritz and Sass and the hair crown was designed by the florist.
The wonderful florals were from Fleur Du Monceux which bought the fairy story to life with beautiful colours and blooms with a wild vibe. The multi talented Natasha also baked the exquisite cakes!
The feast was created by The Garden Chef and just looked gorgeous and tasted just as good as it looks.
