Before we delve into this beautiful feature today, a quick note from me. I am off on my summer holiday to North Devon tomorrow and so this will be the last feature for the next seven days here at Whimsical Wonderland Weddings. I really appreciate your patience whilst I have a wonderful break with my family, however, stay tuned to our social media channels for regular updates and of course you can browse our archives and wedding directory from the menu.
And so here we have the dreamiest of wedding editorials, peach and gold wedding ideas, filled with blooms, cake swings and gorgeous styling. It really is wedding heaven folks! There is a wonderfully playful, whimsical feel to this set of amazing images set at Wollaton Hall and captured by Jane Beadnell Photography, part in thanks to the cute pets we see pictured and the ethereal vibes. Behind the concept and planning were Storeybook Cakes and Your Fabulous Wedding; what a fabulous job they did of bringing together a brilliant team of suppliers and curating a strong atmosphere and cohesive design.
There were so many peachy coral flowers arranged in a wild style, complete with a flower arch, a bouquet adorned with ribbons and flowers on the chairs too. Then there were the wonderful cake creations, pretty stationery suite and all the divine accessories which add that extra something special. The floral dress is out of this world beautiful, the bridal look in fact was so gorgeous, I am totally coveting that hair do! The groom too looked very dapper in a grey check suit with floral tie teamed with a grass buttonhole for a modern touch. There really is something here to inspire everyone and I think you are really going to be left filled with ideas for your own wedding.
Peach & Gold Wedding Ideas
A fanciful fantasy at Wollaton Hall!
In a setting which epitomises the style of 2019, this shoot brings together an incredible palette of tones and hues which whispers fancy and frippery in the most romantic way.
The beautiful backdrop of the grounds from the historic mansion and deer park in Nottingham provided the perfect showcase for this years’ coral pantone which when contrasted with the rustic gold of the accessories and décor achieves the ultimate in contemporary romance.
In this shoot the styling team have found a way to capture the couple in a unique way which combines the beauty of the bride and the setting of the day using the gorgeous swing provided by BrambleSky, and the relaxed and whimsical vibe it inspires is simply stunning.
This was a floral heavy design and Gigil and Bloom pulled out all the stops to achieve this. Soft peach tones were enhanced with creams and ivory and further enhanced with lots of pretty foliage. The bouquet was completed with silk ribbon from Extra Special Touch.
Pets are becoming more and more of a feature at ceremonies and celebrations as couples want to incorporate their fur babies into their special day – and this shoot took it to a whole new level with the incredibly cute bunny rabbits and hedgehog as the special guests!
The styling suits the venue and shoot beautifully – the luxe gold floating chandeliers and suspended cake from Storeybook Cakes provide the drama and the dress and flowers provide the amour. It’s a match made in heaven.
The cake had woodland elements incorporated which worked alongside the classic sugar flowers which toned with the fresh florals incredibly well.
The handmade dress made by Fiona Elizabeth Couture brings to life the romance of the theme – more and more brides are choosing an alternative to off the shelf couture and are choosing more bohemian and ecclesiastical styles which are unique to their personality and celebration.
This unique dress was complemented with shoes enhanced with florals from Lace and Love shoes. Miriam’s overall look was completed with a garter from Extra Special Touch and an Enchanted Glass hair vine and earrings from Alexandra Bespoke.
We really wanted to incorporate wedding rings which complemented the woodland theme and these incredible leaf & twig cast rings from Brandts Jewellery were the perfect option.
Our male model looked very suave in a Mark Darcey grey suit supplied by Blidsworth Menswear.
Amy Bailey Design created a beautiful, woodland inspired stationery suite which coordinated perfectly with the florals and table styling.
Miriam’s natural beauty was enhanced with peachy tones in her make up and her gorgeous red hair was beautifully styled by MUBYLEIGH.
The table design combined the woodland elements with more classic styling. The grey fur and velvet ribbon softened the dark wooden table and candle sticks from The Ivy Cottage and gave a stylish contrast to the ivory and gold tableware. The gold accents were further highlighted by the candlesticks and the centre piece of flowers. The printed menu napkins were supplied by Extra Special Touch.
