This pretty and magical wedding ideas shoot brings all the wildflower wedding inspiration today, set at Oakwood at Ryther in Yorkshire.
Behind the concept were My Pretties UK and The Petal Studio, with these totally dreamy images brought to us by Freya Raby. Loose yourself in these wonderful meadow flowers and barn wedding décor ideas. Think natural flower backdrop, clear calligraphy wedding signs, floral stationery and delicate cakes.
The pregnant bride‘s bump was cocooned in a strapless puddle train gown. Just effortlessly stylish. I really love the ponytail bridal hairstyle, the delicious looking dessert table and that bountiful bouquet. Wow!
Oakwood At Ryther Wedding
Bursting with wild, seasonal flowers, this was a total dream!
I absolutely love this time of year for locally grown flowers, the flowers are bright and blousy. It was only natural that we show the goods in this beautiful shoot.
Creating the florals I really wanted “to bring the outside in” so along with Planner and Stylist, Jen from My Pretties UK, a beautiful mood board was conjured up.
Meadow style arrangements ran down the aisle. A column bursting with flowers and a table runner created from flowers.
We felt that Oakwood at Ryther (a stunning new venue in Yorkshire) was a perfect choice to host the shoot as it’s so light and airy, with beautiful gardens that are starting to flower into life. Nearby fields that were just perfect for the ethereal portraits. Freya Raby was our go to Photographer, we’ve been waiting to shoot with her for a while now and we thought she’d capture everything perfectly, and she absolutely did.
We wanted to do things a little differently by using a pregnant model/bride to be. Obviously pregnant women get married every day but you generally don’t see it being shouted about. We knew the perfect lady for the job, we’ve worked with the very beautiful Anna Titley a few times on shoots and at 23 weeks pregnant, her bump was stunning. Chrys Chapman on hair and makeup and I loved the idea of using a headband, a twist on the normal flower crown, Chrys made this look so beautiful with complimentary make up.
Beautiful Cakes which were hand drawn with wild flowers was provided by award winning sister, Where The Ribbon Ends and awesome stationery by the oh so talented somers_creative.
