Let’s begin the week with a bang shall we? It’s such a pleasure to be sharing the Oak Barn wedding of Charlotte and Tom today. The Oak Barn at Frame Farm is nestled in the Kent countryside and provided the perfect setting for their majestic barn wedding reception, following a special church ceremony. Their day included their sweet pup and a nod to their dog with a dog table plan and table names, so cute!
Their vision included veggie food, ample free booze, lamb and white and greenery for the blooms. Well didn’t it just all turn out so wonderfully? I love that they allowed their wedding suppliers to crack on and use their talents, it sounds like it made for a really laid back planning process.
There is so so much I adore about their day, the stunning attire (hello pretty slip dress and glittery gown overlay for the evening), pretty mismatched bridesmaid dresses in blues and greens, incredible wild style florals and a spectacular naked cake. It’s all just marvellous and so stylish to boot.
Matilda Delves Photography was on hand to capture the whole day in all it’s glory and I am so thankful to be sharing these incredible shots with you.
The Proposal
We met at a mutual friend’s 30th birthday. Charlotte moved to LA 3 months later and Tom spent 18 months flying to LA before they agreed Charlotte had to move back and they set up home together in Wimbledon. Tom proposed in South Africa in November 2018 and they got their gorgeous (and all consuming) puppy in March.
The Vision
Simple! Charlotte is a true believer in just letting experts get on with what they do best. Charlotte knew she wanted white and green for the flowers and some great veggie food but that was literally it! The rest just came to life via all the amazing people we worked with. Tom just wanted to make sure nobody had to buy and drink… oh and lamb!

Your Photographer
Matilda was just amazing! We were dreading our practice shoot and could not be happier that we got to meet Matilda before our big day – thank you so much for making us do it – the day itself was so easy due to this! Matilda immediately made us feel at ease and we shared some mutual dog love which was clearly so important to all of us and it gave us a chance to talk about the photos we truly wanted (and the ones we dreaded!). On our day we could not have asked for more – Matilda, thank you. We know you will have captured everything. You went above and beyond. You made the whole day so easy and fun and it is just such a pleasure to hang around with you. Thank you again and it will not be the last time you see us (we are so sorry!).
Advice For Other Couples
Just love the whole experience – hopefully you will only do it once… and on the day you simply won’t care about all the details.
