Hold on to your seats, you are in for such a treat with these Montague Farm wedding ideas!
There were the most beautiful peach wedding flowers, striking backdrops, modern stationery designs and a divine table set up to name just a few. Be sure to look out for a pastel wedding cake of dreams, a sequin starry gown and very stylish accessories indeed.
Big thanks to Jessica Bevan Photography and The Fantastical Events Company for sharing these epic wedding ideas that are sure to fill you with ideas for your wedding.
The shoot took place at Montague Farm in Hankham East Sussex. The farm itself is a working organic farm with a sustainable ethos, that has recently undergone extensive refurbishment to make way for a wedding and events space.
There are some of the traditional aspects you would expect from a barn wedding venue, but with modern enhancements and design features (such as the beautiful polished concrete floor in the wedding chapel) making this a truly diverse venue for style-conscious couples that like the idea of a barn wedding but like some industrial features.
We wanted to focus on the juxtaposition of elements for this shoot, so soft florals against concrete floors, statement draping against a dark wood back drop and elegant tablescapes inside a rustic barn.
We wanted to draw on colour, tone and texture to make use of all of the different areas in this beautiful venue.
The styling was done in a way that elevated some of the barer areas of the barn, chapel and bar, to a beautifully chic wedding and reception space. Lots of warm amber tones and statement florals to connect all the areas together.
Each area was styled sympathetically to highlight the beautiful features in the 3 different areas of the barn.
The suppliers were all handpicked for their particular talent and eye for the chic, bright vibe we were aiming for in the gallery. Our wonderful photographer Jessica Bevan has an eye for style and emotive images and captured the shoot beautifully.
The florals were always going to be key in chapel area of the shoot and also in carrying the them and colour through the different areas of the shoot. Having looked at Hannah from Tawny Flower Shed’s work, we knew she would smash the brief.
The amazing team of suppliers worked incredibly hard to pull the shoot together and were generous with their time and products.
It was important to us to work with suppliers that have a sustainable ethos. The Flamingo bridalwear used for the shoot is pre-loved and reimagined as beautiful bridalwear.
So inspirational!
Thanks ever so much to the talented team below for sharing these dreamy Montague Farm wedding ideas with us.
