Cosy up my dears, we have a fabulous December wedding to inspire you today.
This lovely pair were married at the Nuvo Room in Texas, surrounded by the most gorgeous colour scheme of plums, reds, pinks and a touch of greenery. I love that Priscilla’s lipstick is matched perfectly to her bouquet and the way the flowers themselves have a different, enchanting hue in the changing light; flitting from deep crimson to wine, plum and burgundy; just stunning. We of course have to touch on that gown, perfectly wintry with the lace sleeves and I just love the classic, regal shape. With some dazzling accessories, Priscilla is certainly a glamorous bride and it so moving to see the way Elihu beams at her, clearly totally mesmerised by his new wife and so in love.
What is it about winter that just begs for the gents in the bridal party to be rocking bow ties? It just feels so right, and certainly fitting for Priscilla and Elihu’s day.
As a winter bride-to-be myself, this gorgeous wedding really caught my eye and I just know you’ll love it too. Enjoy these beautiful images, expertly captured by Alba Rose Photography.
FROM THE BRIDE | Elihu and I met through mutual friends, prior to actually meeting face to face, I heard of very nice things about him from friends.
The proposal was unexpected. That particular day and event was supposedly for my aunt to have a presentation and she made sure I was fully dressed. Elihu proposed at the NYLO hotel in Downtown Dallas with the beautiful skyline view. It was a little cold but it was a beautiful night. I could not stop looking at my ring. After the proposal I could not eat or drink, I was too nervous and way too excited, lots of things were going through my mind!
I decided on my beautiful winter wedding when I realized how much I love winter, I love the cold and most of all, I love the colours, the deep reds, plums, and lots of greenery. I wanted to make sure my colors would bring an environment that had romance, family and love in the air.
The one thing I was inspired by for my colour palette was romance. My wedding exceeded my expectations and I thank Jehovah God for having lived to experience such a beautiful moment. My husband and I will always cherish our wedding and we are so grateful to have spent that moment with the people we love and honour the most.
