You know what has become one of my fave past times of late? Scouring the local garden centre in our village. Wandering in the greenhouses and dreaming of our future garden gives me a sense of peace and tranquillity. So I can totally see why the team behind this gorgeous wedding ideas shoot chose the Secret Herb Garden as their location, from there the vision of an ethereal and whimsical style transpired.
It’s all just so beautiful, featuring delicate calligraphy, greenery and copper laden rustic tables, stunning gowns (hello starry celestial cape!) and a dream catcher ceremony backdrop to name a few. I really think you are going to fall head over heels for these dreamy images by Siobhan Stewart Photography. There are certainly plenty of inspirational ideas and outfit looks for your own weddings. Enjoy it all lovelies.
The inspiration for this styled inspiration shoot was largely drawn from our outdoor, rustic location, the Secret Herb Garden. The team wanted to create a modern yet whimsical shoot which complemented our surroundings; we achieved this through our natural and ethereal styling and by photographing using soft natural light. Our calligrapher Laura drew inspiration from garden stonework, nature and the herb nursery itself to create a loose whimsical style of calligraphy and design for our stationery and menu. She used fresh colours to keep it both modern and ethereal. Pretty Rustic Events, used colour tones within the venue styling which were inspired from rows and rows of rusty garden tools that she remembered hanging in her high school agriculture class’s potting shed . The copper shades of the rust against the weathered wooden handles blended seamlessly as if the metal had almost grown out of the wood itself. You can see these tones reflected throughout our shoot, especially in the table setting. The stunning, flowing tulle and silk wedding gowns by Hayley Paige and Savannah Miller continued our theme and complimented the classic but chic Walter Slater tweed suit.
