Be still my beating heart. This wedding ideas editorial today simply has it all you guys! A Persian rug aisle in the woods, a fedora hat wearing bride, sensational tablescapes and all in beautiful bohemian style. A team of creatives came together to inspire and create at WWW fave venue, Camp Katur. The setting was idyllic and cool, with rustic charm perfect for the mismatched décor. Just imagine tying the knot right there in the woodland, with a love quote banner backdrop billowing in the breeze behind you and dream catchers swaying from the trees. So romantic!
The bridal look here today is just divine. That fringed dress is just something else and the hair and make up totally flawless. Keep your eyes peeled for a striking floral cake and delicate floral illustrated stationery too. Emily Olivia Photography captured all the details and the bride and groom just beautifully, that light. Swoon.
Boho Woodland Shoot at Camp Katur
The inspiration for the shoot really came from the venue. The stunning barn and gorgeous woodland leant itself perfectly to a relaxed boho feel.
This was a truly collaborative shoot, everyone involved contributed their ideas and played a big part in creating the beautiful result. We wanted to enhance the natural beauty of the venue so the styling was deliberately kept relaxed. Jen from My Pretties UK created the concept for the shoot and we worked together to source suppliers and pool our resources for the styling.
We used a mix of dried and fresh flowers to dress the table and the dessert table. The colours were deliberately slightly mismatched to work with the boho theme.
The bride wore an amazing dress by Rolling in Roses supplied by Glory Days. Her natural beauty was enhanced with make up by Natalie Ellis. Her look was completed by a pretty bouquet and flower crown from Vanessa at Wildflowers.
Gayle from Where The Ribbon Ends created a stunning cake with country flowers as well as the cutest lollipops and heart shaped biscuits.
I really wanted to bring furniture into the woods and the pink chaise longue from Modular Moods proved to be the perfect choice for this. Mismatched rugs completed the look creating an aisle leading to the woodland ceremony area.
Re-Fresh Re-style Wedding Design supplied the incredible, hand crocheted dreamcatchers which looked so pretty hanging in the trees.
Carolyn from Gray Starling Designs made a fabulous suite of stationery incorporating the florals from the cake. She also made the chiffon backdrop which looked amazing in the woods with the cake.
All this wonderful gorgeousness was captured on camera by Emily Olivia Photography in her signature light and airy style.
