WWW readers Amy and Gabe kept their Milling Barn wedding in Hertfordshire simple and beautiful. They were hitched on Friday 2nd August 2019 on a wonderful summers day with an outdoor ceremony in the gazebo adorned with blooms. A celebration then followed in the rustic barns, which they thoughtfully decorated with flowers, greenery and rustic touches.
Pastel colours were used throughout with Amy donning a stunning pale pink gown, Gabe adding pink to his attire with a colour pop tie, pale tones were used in the flower arrangements and the bridesmaids wore grey frocks. Didn’t they all look fantastic?
I also love the semi naked cake, the log slice centrepieces and the sound of those sharing platters, yum! Emily Tyler Photography thank you ever so much for sharing these absolutely gorgeous images with us. What a treat!
We met in a bar when Amy was just 18 and Gabe was 19, fast forward 7 years and Gabe surprised me with a proposal in Trivoli Gardens in Copenhagen.
Pastel and natural colours to keep with the hope of simplicity on the day.
The Planning Process
We were engaged for about a year and a half before getting married, we have been pretty laid back about the planning process much to the frustration of our families!
We chose the venue because of its simplicity and beauty, we just wanted everyone to enjoy the day and celebrating with us.
We had platters on the table to fit with the relaxed vibe so people can help themselves! And pizza in the evening to keep everyone going through the night.
