Old Fashioned Tea Shop Engagement

Afternoon {www}ers… a little Saturday afternoon treat for you here, in the form of an uber cute engagement shoot. Sally the bride to be is a professional wedding photographer whom i have featured on {www} before. Herself and David headed to the Olde young Teashop in Middlesborough for their shoot.

Old fashioned charm, and amazing ring,  a super cute couple here…

Thanks so much to the brilliant Newcastle based wedding photographer, Matt Ethan Photography for sharing his images today…

Here is what Sally had to say about herself and David…

“David and I weren’t sure that we wanted an engagement shoot until we realise there weren’t many nice pictures of us together, and we thought “why not?”. I loved Matt’s photos straight away and saw he did seperate couple’s shoots from his wedding photography (as he wasn’t available on our wedding day). We met up at the Empire, the place where we met around 5 years ago, (and also where my Grandad once took my Granda when it was a dance hall), as we love it’s art deco type exterior and the retro sign, we then took the short walk to my friend’s teashop, The Olde Young Teahouse, as she was doing her tea and cake service for our wedding, and we thought it would be a great idea to get some photos using the same vintage crockery that would be used for our wedding itself. Matt was great to work with and put us both at ease. A few months later we had a typically English summer wedding, complete with marquee, hog roast, colours and handmade crafty bits and pieces. We wouldn’t have changed a thing :)”

Congratulations to Sally and David, and thank you for letting me share your wonderful engagement shoot, have a wonderful Saturday lovelies xoxo Lou
