I am feeling in full holiday mood today thanks to Chantal and Joshua’s beautiful destination wedding in Los Cabos, Mexico. They chose to hold their wedding at the Paradisus resort on the 21st April 2018, with a really pretty pink colour scheme and views of the sea. They began with a touching first look, before marrying outdoors against a gorgeous backdrop of flowers framing the turquoise sea. Following the ceremony they headed to the beach for breezy beautiful portraits and I have to say that they really looked stunning in their chosen attire.
The reception was held in a pavilion style building with open sides allowing an outdoors-in feel with spectacular views. They decorated the space really perfectly, with some of the most incredible florals, gold decorations and delicate swathes of fabric. Come evening they were in for a real treat with an unexpected firework display, how brilliant is that?!
Huge thanks goes to the wonderful Anna Gomes Photo for sharing with us these fabulous images today.

The couple’s 55 guests received a welcome bag that contained the wedding program with all the information about the events surrounding the wedding weekend and gifts which included customized koozies and sunglasses, and a cute flamingo inflatable drink holder.
The couple wanted very natural photos and candid images of their wedding. The couple wanted to join their guests during cocktail hour and opted for having a first look.
The wedding ceremony happened at a terrace with sweeping views of the sea of Cortez and the beach below. Let It Be Events provided the flower service with gorgeous blooms. Gold Chiavari chairs alone made for a beautiful set up, completed by an arch with draped champagne colored linen and flowers at the end of the aisle and two flower arrangements marked the entrance creating a balanced and tasteful ceremony set up.
The bride wore a unique Hayley Paige wedding gown. A fit to flare with a sweetheart neckline and spaghetti straps and low scoop back had the most beautiful beaded pattern in ivory over a cashmere blush color lining. The beading catches the light and is truly stunning. The bride paired the wedding dress with a mid veil and loose natural curls. She picked front back studded earrings and an heirloom ring from her grandmother both in gold. Her bridal bouquet was made of cream colored and pink blooms accented with loose greenery.
The beautiful pavilion style building in the resort served as the reception venue, lined up with rectangle wooden tables and Chiavari gold chairs. Champagne flowy table runners were accented with gold votives and candle holders and centerpieces that offered a strong pop of color to the table. Each place setting had a clear glass plate with a rim of gold with a folded napkin and a rosemary branch. Table numbers were spelled out in Spanish and printed in gold stamp foil over a cream colored card.
The welcome table had place cards in alphabetical order to make it easier for guests to find their names and were marked by their choice of meal with a small stamp. Over the table, there were frames with photos of their lost loved ones.
During dinner, toasts were made by the father of the bride and the unofficial maid-of-honor and best man. After dinner, the cake was cut and the dance floor opened to the party. In one of the best moments of the day, an event next door to the venue had a firework show of epic proportions. They exploded and showered the sky in sparkles right above the wedding and gave the couple and their guests quite a show.
