Hooray for a pop of colour! Living Coral has been chosen as 2019’s Pantone colour of the year. I am loving this bold, bright and fun colour choice and I think it will enter the wedding industry with a bang. We’ve had the dark tones of greenery and ultra violet for the past couple of years so this gorgeous hue will really add an injection of pretty into weddings next year, especially Spring/Summer nuptials. I have to say it wasn’t overly easy finding coral infused weddings, which means it’s a pretty unique colour palette to opt for, perfect for couples looking to add a touch of special to their decorations and wedding style.
Of course when I think of coral, my thoughts turn the the iconic Coral Charm Peony, which I am hoping will be blooming in my own garden this summer after planting the variety last year. With it’s large flower head and striking colour way it means it’s been a firm favourite in wedding florals for years now. So I think we can expect to see a lot more of these beauties in 2019 wedding flower arrangements. Bring on the vibrant tones.

You can inject Living Coral subtly or with full force into your wedding in the fashion choices you make, the flower arrangements and of course your details and dΓ©cor. Think about little hints in the stationery or adornments such as ribbons, you could add a single coral flower in an array of colourful florals, wear coral heels for a flash of colour beneath your dress, accessories like bow ties and pocket squares can be used in coral and of course your bridesmaids dresses. Don’t forget your cake! Add coral to buttercream creations or perhaps hidden in the sponge. You could even arrive in style in a coral hue car. Coral wedding ideas galore! The options really are endless.
