Come on in and enjoy the beautiful boho La Mon Hotel and Spa wedding of Bailie and Jasmine in Northern Ireland.
From their gorgeous bohemian style to the whimsical decorations, you will adore their DIY wedding celebrations. They used soft sage green tones (hello sequin bridesmaid dresses) alongside natural elements such as dried blooms. The result is so romantic!
There were fun wedding signs and WWW wedding supplier fave, The Quirky Camper Booth provided the gorgeous wedding car and campervan photo booth.
A big thank you goes to Victoria Whiting Photography for sharing these joy-filled images of such a special day at La Mon Hotel and Spa. Enjoy!
We got engaged on the 31st July 2021, on my birthday (Jasmine).
Bailie had organised a full day of activities which finished with a lovely dinner and romantic stay at the Rabbit Hotel in Templepatrick. We were sitting down to our 3-course meal and during the main I noticed Bailie not eating much and being a little fidgety. So I was suspicious that something may have been up.
But I recommended we leave dessert until later and go for that walk he wanted to take me on after dinner, so thatโs what we did. We then headed outside where there was this little archway surrounded by rose petals and candles and a little boho rug where Bailie led me down to.
Giving me the most romantic and beautiful speech about why he wanted to marry me and, both being committed Christians, how his faith played a role in that which was and has been such a beautiful aspect of the whole wedding experience.
He then got down on one knee and asked if I would marry him and I said yes. And we had this beautiful little moment just me and him right before we called home and told everyone!!!
My style and fashion has always been a little artsy, quirky and a little different and so I really wanted our wedding to reflect that side of me. One of Bailieโs biggest passions in life is golf so we wanted to include aspects of that too.
One thing that we have shared a love for throughout our relationship aside from our faith has been the US office too so we wanted our wedding to include little bits of ourselves as individuals, but also represent who we are as a couple too and the fun we have together.
We are both super easygoing people so most of what we had envisioned we figured out a way to do it ourselves, which was such a lovely experience for the both of us as we worked together to create aspects of our wedding as a couple.

Our ceremony was a Christian ceremony reflecting that aspect of our relationship that is important to us. It was also very relaxed and we tried to include as many of our close friends and family to make our day so special.
We walked in to the church to Canon in D (for the bridal party) then there was a change as me and my dad came in to Married Life from UP, played on the Harp. Bailie and I then walked out to the US Office theme tune played on the harp, which gave everyone a good giggle because everyone who knew us almost were like โwhat else could it have been!!โ.
Father-Daughter dance – Acoustic Sweet Child of Mine/transition to normal version to invite everyone up to dance.
First dance – Amazed by Dave Fenley.
My dress was from Seraphim Bridal in Greyabbey, Northern Ireland. I had only been to one other wedding dress shop prior to this and I honestly left it feeling so deflated and so pessimistic that I would find a dress that felt like me. Until I visited Seraphim.
The first dress I tried on here looked super similar to the dress my sister wore so immediately I ruled it out. The second one was the one I ended up with and I FELL IN LOVE IMMEDIATELY. Now the lady in the bridal shop knew as soon as she picked it out that it would be a firm favourite. But just to make sure she had me try on another one of a similar style which I also loved but it just wasnโt quite so โmeโ.
The dress I chose was a 2 piece and barely needed any adjustments, which was a dream because I am a girl who loves comfort so I was already loving the idea of buying an evening skirt to go with my dress!! The dress was super boho, hippy, flowy and whimsical and very carefree and I just felt so me wearing it. Everyone on the day kept saying how if they could pick out a dress for me it would be exactly that which just affirmed my feeling!!
Bailieโs suit needed to be boho and have a little pop to it so, with knowledge of what my dress looked like I helped to guide the colour scheme and style of Bailieโs suit. He ordered his waistcoats from the Suit Locker in Newtownards, Northern Ireland and got Herbie Frog suits for the groom’s party.
Our bridesmaid dresses were from ASOS, the flower girl dresses were from Bob and Blossom and our junior groomsman outfit was from Next.
Our photographer was Victoria Whiting Photography (absolutely amazing).
Our videographer was Chapter II films (Also absolutely brilliant).
Maderia, Portugal
Just do not stress about things going the way they are meant to. The material aspects of a wedding are nice but they are gone within a day. The day is about becoming one and looking forward to a life spent together. If you get married at the end of the day itโs a win!!
Also, do your research and we highly recommend booking a good photographer and videographer. Those memories you want preserved for a lifetime and you want it done well!!
Make sure you try and find 5/10mins in the day to escape from everyone and just be together. It is so hard to actually stay together all day but we did this and it was so nice to just be in our own little bubble undisturbed for 5 mins.
Does it get any more beautiful!?
Bailie and Jasmine, thank you both ever so much for sharing your boho beautiful La Mon Hotel and Spa wedding story.
