Now we know that you guys love a quirky wedding venue, not to mention DIY décor, so we think you will just adore this happy and love filled celebration today.
Naomi and Rich were married on the 27th May 2017 at Ecclesall Woods Discovery Centre in Sheffield. The location in the woodland was all kinds of magical, it was perfect for the couple to host a day filled with all of their nearest and dearest. The ceremony looked so touching too, with the couple saying their vows against a stunning floral backdrop and a pet pooch ring bearer was also on hand. Too cute!
The couple chose the loveliest of outfits. Naomi fell for an embellished and flowing Anna Campbell gown from Jean Jackson Couture, with her hair scooped up into plaits and adorned with flowers. Rich donned a navy blue check suit and patterned tie for a modern groom look. Didn’t they just look incredible?
We cannot thank Ellie Grace Photography enough for sharing these candid moments and gorgeous portraits.
THE PROPOSAL | My birthday, Prosecco picnic in Victoria Park London.
THE VISION | To have a day that everyone enjoyed and could just all get together and celebrate with us.
THE PLANNING PROCESS | Just did it bit by bit really.
THE VENUE | Discovery Centre in Ecclesall Woods Sheffield. It’s a community centre in the middle of the woods that hosts 12 weddings a year as well as craft classes and environmental education days. They don’t provide catering so is a blank canvas for couples to design their own weddings.
THE DRESS & ACCESSORIES | Anna Campbell dress, ASOS shoes.
FINDING THE DRESS | The amazing Jean Jackson Couture in Manchester. Can’t recommend these ladies enough, totally wonderful at helping me choose the perfect dress.
GROOM’S ATTIRE | Rich’s suit was from House of Fraser (bit of a last min buy!).
THE READINGS & MUSIC | I was supposed to walk down the aisle/decking to a cover of Nico’s “These Days” by St. Vincent… but the iPad had different ideas and wouldn’t work! My brother read a poem called tell Me The Truth About Love by WH Auden.
BEAUTIFUL BRIDESMAIDS | My sister Ellie and best friends since we were tiny, Freyja and Rachel. They all wore the same dress from ASOS with different shoes.
THE FLOWERS | My Mum did the majority of the flowers; all the bouquets, button holes and table flowers. Campbell’s Flowers from Sheffield did the flower archway.
THE CAKE | Rich’s Mum Val made a giant chocolate brownie cake.
YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER | The lovely Ellie Grace Photography.
THE DETAILS & DÉCOR | Homemade!
THE HONEYMOON | A week in Lake Como, Italy. We got an Air BnB with a huge balcony overlooking the lake.
MEMORABLE MOMENTS | A big gust of wind blew my veil into the pond on the walk down. The perils of outdoor weddings! Dad to the rescue!
ADVICE FOR OTHER COUPLES | Don’t get a long veil! Only joking… just try not to get bogged down and stressed with planning for every detail and eventuality. As long as you both turn up with your friends and family around you then it will perfect no matter what happens. Enjoy it!

What a gorgeous wedding!! The reception looks so beautiful, and both the bride and the groom are stunning, but nothing beats that baby with the beret haha. Congratulations to the happy couple and thanks for posting it Louise!
