Green and gold wedding ideas this fine Sunday folks! This colour scheme is so on trend in the world of interiors and it’s super special to see it brought to life in a wedding concept today. Wedding planner Rachel Dalton Weddings curated a fabulous team of wedding suppliers to bring us this unique wedding inspiration today, set at the stunning Pylewell Park and captured so beautifully by Samantha Davis Photography.
So just what do I love about it? Let’s begin with the incredible reception set up in the tent; long tables are lined with neutral table runners, gold décor, opulent flowers featuring pampas grass, candles and green napkins. The results are just breathtaking! Then there is the remarkably pretty cake table set up, the dramatic stationery suite and of course the bridal look. The bride wears a sleek dress with a statement bridal cape featuring embroidered feathers, I just love the drama. She has flawless hair and make up and the fluffiest pampas grass bouquet. Swoon!
Green & Gold Wedding Ideas
This modern, ethereal wedding inspiration perfectly epitomises the unique bride who is looking for something beyond a classic bridal gown. We styled our model with a dress which featured a dramatic feather-embroidered cape and completed the look with a neutral, pampas grass bouquet.
Nestled in the heart of The New Forest countryside, Pylewell Park provided the perfect setting for this editorial. We drew inspiration from the grandeur of the country house setting, as well as the natural forest surroundings, to create a setup that was striking, unique and elegant.
We created a stunning table setup with long, banquet-style tables and a show-stopping floral display in the centre which included pampas grass, an abundance of foliage and vibrant florals in pink, orange and coral tones. We contrasted the brightly coloured blooms with earthy toned elements, including a neutral silk table runner, forest green napkins and muted gold tableware. Elegant taper candles and tumbling seasonal fruits completed the look and the overall effect was fun, textural and unique.
We continued our forest green colour palette throughout other elements of the shoot, including an invitation suite with watercolour details and a luxurious wax seal, as well as textured place names which featured elegant calligraphy and gold foiling.
Set against a striking gold mirror, we also styled a dessert table with a beautifully designed main cake and a selection of mouth-watering, gold leaf miniature cakes.
The final result perfectly represents everything modern brides stand for. This shoot is fun, romantic and beautifully unique and we couldn’t be happier with the finished editorial!
