Instead of bringing flowers to you on your wedding day, why not go to the flowers instead? Nicole and Andrew held their beautiful wedding day at Camrose Hill Flower Farm in Minnesota on the 27th of August 2016. As you can imagine, there were stunning florals everywhere and it’s quite a sight to behold. The ceremony took place under a wooden arbour that was bursting at the seams with bright flowers and greenery, the bride and her maids had incredible bouquets and the centrepieces at the reception were larger-than-life multicoloured arrangements placed on tall silver candlesticks…and that is just the beginning.
Nicole looked elegant in an embellished strapless gown with a sweetheart neckline. Her groom looked handsome in his light grey suit, white vest, white tie and tan shoes. After they said ‘I do’, they held one of the prettiest after-parties I have ever seen. There were all kinds of dessert, including the wedding cake, mini desserts in glasses and cake-pops in three flavours – key lime, red velvet and amaretto almond. That is my kind of heaven. The room was strikingly decorated with hanging branches, chandeliers, beads and fairy lights coming from the ceiling and more twinkly lights around the venue. There are so many ideas here that I love, but my favourite is the table setting chart made from handwritten tags and pegs within a tree branch frame with the words “Find your seat here, but your place is on the dance floor”. Yes! I’m dying to know what was in those cute guest favour bags complete with handwritten tags and gold ribbons too…
Thank you so much to Eileen K Photography for sharing these gorgeous shots with us.
FROM THE PHOTOGRAPHER | Nicole and Andrew tied the knot at Camrose Hill Flower Farm in Stillwater, Minnesota. A few weeks before their wedding at Camrose, they had a faith-based ceremony in Chicago. As always, Camrose killed it on the décor and florals. Lake Elmo Inn Catering was amazing with the dinner and Buttercream’s Bakery was amazing!

Thank you very much, Nicole and Andrew, for letting us share your day and your brilliant ideas. I think in the future you will have a blast assembling those jigsaw pieces that your guests wrote on – what a special way to remember your celebration. Congratulations. Abby xx
