I am in awe of these super inspiring and utterly beautiful fine art wedding images today.
Set at Templars Barn in Berkshire, this shoot was curated to inspire couples planning bohemian luxe weddings. Think deep rich burgundy accents, whimsical large floral arrangements, stylish attire and wonderful styling to boot.
There was a perfectly rustic dessert display upon vintage furniture and a show stopping hair style, not to mention darling calligraphy stationery. The backless gown had real wow factor with model Kerrie looking oh so elegant.
Many thanks goes to Jessica Davies for sharing these dreamy photographs.
“Captured in a combination of digital and film images by Jessica Davies, this editorial was designed to inspire brides by providing a fine art, luxury take on a bohemian wedding style. The setting for the shoot was Templars Barn, in Hungerford, a simple, unadorned barn with a pretty courtyard – chosen to demonstrate that simple and rustic can also be luxurious with the right vision and styling.”
“Wedding stylist, Claire Cole, expertly brought the whole shoot together. She chose to contrast simple, rustic tables with the luxury of silk, chiffon and lace, while mixed metals and coloured candles provided a nod to up and coming wedding trends.”
“The luxurious florals, designed by The Wessex Flower Company, featured home-grown blooms and seasonal fruits, contrasting rich marsala with soft antique pinks. The bridal bouquet, which included roses, peonies, jasmine and eucalyptus, was a beautiful example of the Fine Art floral trend, with soft flowing ribbons providing an additional feminine accent.”
“Merrie and Bright, who also designed the Fine Art inspired stationery suite, provided the intricate hand-written scrolls in bottles, which contained personalised messages to wedding guests and were used as unique wedding favours with the place settings.”
“The show-stopping desert table, with cakes and deserts by Tiers Of Happiness, featured a beautifully bold, three tier wedding cake as its centrepiece. Complete with intricate sugar work and gold leaf, the cake provided a welcome pop of contrasting colour and was finished with a striking hand lettered topper by Merrie and Bright Calligraphy.”
“Bridal hair and MUA, Patricia Soper, created Kerrie’s beautifully laid back and feminine look, with soft braids and a slight boldness to the lips which mirrored the day’s colour palette. Jewellery for both bride and groom was provided by talented local designer, Kate McAngus.”
“Kerrie and Allen, who became our gorgeous models for the day, were actually a real couple who married at Templars Barn a year ago and took part in the shoot as part of their first wedding anniversary celebrations. Kerri’s bridal dress, by Jarlo, provided a grown-up silhouette and was complimented by an understated, yet perfectly boho, jasmine crown.”
