Festive Sunday Rambling + Sneak Peek

Lets get a little festive…after all it is only a week until Christmas!! Can you believe it? And there are only two weeks left of 2011 so lets make sure its a year to remember.

Well as you can see, this week we got our Christmas decorations up… yey! It seemed to take long enough hehe…. but on Tuesday we headed to the local farm and picked out our lovely tree. In my mind you cannot beat a real tree at Christmas…. yes the needles will be driving me mad in a weeks time, but it’s so worth it… i love our tree!!

After our redecoration in the living room, we have large doses of orange on the walls…. i thought we would go gold glitter. I even brought 3 special baubles rather so the idea is we collect special decorations each year. I found this beautiful gold star confetti baubles in Marks and Spencer, i am in love with them heheee.

And meet our newest addition to the family, this gorgeous glitter reindeer i picked up in Wilkinsons :-) In fact i think i will be keeping him out after Christmas hehe… any name suggestions?

So have you made many plans for Christmas? I have finished my Christmas cards, and brought the presents. I am working my little socks off to get organised so i can fingers crossed take some time off to unwind… i haven’t had a long break since last Christmas.

We are going to my parents for Christmas dinner… where are you headed? I cannot wait this year, as A being 2 now, he is so much more knowing. I cannot wait to see his face on Christmas morning. Do you have any traditions? For the past few years i have made a Christmas quiz which has always gone down well… so i am hoping i will find the time to do another one this year :-)

What are you hoping for in your stocking? I have a list, which gets distributed between G and my mum hehe… cue them worrying they will get me the same things. This year i asked for a Diana F camera or an Instax…. pyjamas/socks/slippers are always a Christmas favourite. I do love some good old beauty products, a good book and perhaps something nice to wear ;-) But in all honestly i get anxious at receiving gifts. I get nervous and am worried about my reaction when people give me a gift and watch me open it hehe… i must be mad… am i the only one that doesn’t enjoy a surprise?

I just enjoy giving gifts… cliche i know, but i love it if i get something i know is just perfect for that person. Especially presents for the little ones. No doubt A is going to be thoroughly spoilt…. now where are we going to put all of these presents. Boxing day is the day you seem to have piles of bits and  bobs shoved in the corners of the room, and a bit full of packaging.. but that’s all part of the fun non?!

Anyway… i am off to get some wrapping done hehe!! Stay tuned this week as something exciting may be happening ;-))

Here’s a peek of some wedding pretty heading your way v v soon….
