What a gorgeous set of images I have to share, brought to us by Helen Rose Photography, these dusky pink and taupe wedding ideas are everything.
Think striking fresh florals, embroidered veil and ribbons, feathers, a candlelit barn and super stylish attire. There was also a beautiful cake, delicate stationery and the prettiest bridal beauty looks. You are in for a real treat today I can tell you.
If you were wondering whether dusky pink and taupe work as a wedding colour palette, these photos will be sure to sway you.
The Hall Barns and gorgeous accommodation in the neighbouring Laundry Cottage, are all nestled beautifully inside the Prestwold Estate. The rustic elements of the location combined with Helen Roseβs photography and all the suppliers input created a look that seems to jump out of a pre-Raphaelite painting.
For the styling, Vickie of Sage and Belle Styling wanted to complement the features of the barn and create something that felt warm, welcoming, relaxed and romantic with a natural rustic style. She used a colour palette of soft taupe and dusky pink, with just a hint of deep red, dark mustard and thistle blue for that pop of colour which were a mix of rich Indian Summer colours with an antique vintage twist.
Feathers were also made a feature of, inspired by all the pheasants and game birds on the estate that the barns sit in.
Gill of The Flower Fox Studio created a romantically abundant bridal bouquet, full of texture and pops of colour, which matched with a very full flower crown of mismatched garden roses, and textural florals with a burst of the wild sitting on Sarahβs beautifully curly tousled hair.
In order to match the colour palette and the gorgeous off the shoulder sleeved lace and chiffon dress supplied by Tiffany Jordan Bridal, Danielle decided that the brideβs makeup needed to look natural, whilst also allowing her beauty to shine through.
So, she created this bohemian bridal makeup look using a selection of natural pinks and peaches, enhancing her βEnglish Roseβ features. Fabio complimented Sarah in a striking green suit with a subtle choice of sage green tie from The Suit Lounge.
For the ceremony, the main features were a wild hanging floral arrangement created from a branch and pretty English country garden meadow box flower displays.
Vickie, of Sage and Belle, draped chiffon over the beams to create a gorgeous ceremony backdrop which framed the area beautifully and lined the aisle with lanterns and bottles of flowers, where Jas of Infinite Celebrations by Jas, was able to talk to the couple and exchange vows like would happen on a real wedding day.
Inside the barn, the chairs were simply dressed in chiffon and ribbon to soften the look and then we also used gathered chiffon runners on the tables for texture. A range of antique stoneware bottles full of fabulous florals and feathers were added to the tables, along with an abundance of coloured candles and tealights, and finished off with a couple of cute hare figures.
For the place settings, rattan chargers were used which were dressed with stone coloured napkins tied with sage green velvet ribbon, complete with feathers and sprigs of waxflower.
Beautifully handmade stationery that also featured feathers, completed the look created by Vicky from Inviting Writing.
She created three different looks for the table stationery, alongside our stylist Sage and Belle to create coordinating options.
She incorporated flowers and foliage into a tag style design where the thistle and feather have been threaded through the place card. Vicky’s personal favourite though, were the simple feather illustrations made to resemble a quill on the name card, where the name flows into the end of the feather imitating that it has been written before the guests’ very eyes.
The amazing meadow box displays from the ceremony were placed in front of the table, and the hanging floral arrangement was suspended from the beams to create a great feature, framing the happy couple.
Sarah changed for her wedding reception into a sleeker almost 20βs inspired dress including some vintage fringing, combined with her hair pinned up and delicately beaded tiara by Rachel Chaprunne, proved that The Hall Barnβs suited many different looks.
Lisaβs cake of Urban Cake House, tied everything together beautifully with her sugar flowers made to tie in with the theme of the wedding. She also cleverly printed pheasant feathers onto an icing sheet which enveloped two tiers of her unique four tier cake. The shoot used the very best suppliers in order to produce such a stunning set of images, great team work!
Wow! What a gorgeous shoot.
