Soak up all the festive vibes with this gorgeous Christmas wedding theme inspiration today.
Captured by Naomi Mills Photography, planned by Hannah Gilbert and hosted at Walton Hall and Gardens, you are in for a Christmas treat! With a glam and luxury feel, think opulent outfits, rich reds and greens as well as champagne of course!
You are going to adore the snowy confetti, sparklers, mulled wine station and all the twinkling lights. It’s so romantic! Enjoy it all.
What are the two things that bring joy, festivities, drinking, dancing and happy people? Christmas and weddings. We wanted to join these two elements together is a fully loaded Christmas wedding celebration!!
Being local to Warrington, choosing a venue which is close by was important to me, and Walton Hall and Gardens boasts such variety in what it has to offer.
From the old hall to the woodland hideout, achers of gardens, golf course and vinery, I knew we could get mega creative with the photography and styling.
Suppliers were hand selected based on their work and location, to ensure this stayed a northern collaboration.
We invited some new businesses in to get involved including a wedding planner just starting out who brought everything together on the day in such a professional style. She is truly a natural and belongs in the wedding industry.
On a cold Monday morning the supplier met in the Ruby Room of Walton Hall to a Christmas Playlist to start proceedings.
Models were prepared by local talented bridal hair and make up artists who brought the natural but festive look to life. With dark pink and red lips and a natural glam glow I think only Sophie Brown MUA can create.
We selected two elegant looks from Bethany Hannah Bridal based in Stockton Heath. That being House of St. Patrick Saward dress with edgy high shoulders and dramatic length. Jeannie our bride looked incredible in it and it provided that winter feel with lots of material and coverage.
Matty wore the stylish dark green velvet blazer with matching velvet bow tie from Marks and Spencer’s in a 42 long skinny fit. Only someone as cool as Matty could carry this off with such charisma.
The dark corners of the grand Walton Hall allowed us to use flash photography as it was meant to be used creating glamorous, vogue Christmas party-style images. With plenty of champagne and baubles to go alongside.
We used the Ruby Room for a staged aisle walk where our fantastic Celebrant Connie was able to lead the exchanging of rings and bring Jeannie to tears. Such was the realness of the day.
We moved into the bar for some stunning full-length images of the happy couple. And then used the Concert Hall adorned with piano to capture some fun and highly festive shots.
Our second look was the fashionable Natalie Fitzmaurice Bridal gown named Jeannie after our model. Because she made it look THAT good, with a high neck and large sleeves this totally carried the Christmas theme we wanted and added sparkle and party to the evening look.
Paired with the models’ H&M winter coat it created that chilly, cosy look perfect for a late afternoon stroll through the woodland hideout!
And what better to warm you up in 5-degree winter temperatures than a mulled wine station? A true collaboration between our stationer, florist and photographer bringing all elements together. Using the natural staging of the woods we created a Christmassy scene, and even the cold mulled wine got drunk!
We finished our day with some amazing sparkler shots helped by the suppliers, and champagne spray expertly handled by Matty.
We’ve worked hard on this album and brought a Christmas wedding styling to life. Walton Hall showed off its best sides through stunning decoration and range of areas and elements.
Merry Christmas Everyone!
