I am so happy we are headed to WWW fave and Supplier Love member Huntsmill Farm‘s divine wedding venue today. Set outdoors these boho wedding ideas really encapsulate a feeling of balmy long summer days. The humanist outdoor wedding ceremony set up was so beautiful. Complete with antique rug, naked tipi structure with dried flowers and macramé décor. What a dream!
The couple then celebrated with a low table set with bottles filled with flowers, bohemian stationery, candlesticks and stunning tableware. I have to say their outfits were really very cool too. Hello crochet wedding dress, flower crown and flawless hair and make up! The groom was smart casual in matching trousers and waistcoat with dried flower buttonhole, very dapper. If you are thinking of having a small wedding, then let this shoot really inspire you to run wild with a dramatic and totally relaxed boho wedding style. Swoon.
Behind the concept and gorgeous photography was Roshni Photography, with the boho wedding styling and planning the brainchild of The Hullabaloo Collective.
Boho Wedding Ideas
This shoot was an absolute dream of mine! A boho outdoors wedding themed shoot, shot next to the fields of barley under the bright summer sun! This shoot has been inspired by 70’s bohemian, with a modern twist, full of tattoos, pink bridal hair, and macramé headpiece. Persian rugs and boho cushions a sage velvet sofa in the field. A rustic wooden tipi structure was used with dream catchers and dried flower arrangements. We opted for a Humanist ceremony and the vows for the couple. Megan and Michael are real couple who had incredible chemistry, which was absolutely important for me and the team. The colour palate for the shoot was rustic orange, dusty greens, blush pinks and creams.
A copper milk churn filled with a flower arrangement. Megan wore a vintage boho dress by ridiculously talented Poppy Perspective and Michael wore his own suit for the shoot. Megan also wore a hairpiece made out of macramé by Cotton and Wild Bride by Holly, who is so multi-talented, doing Megan’s hair too. Jewellery was boho inspired too by Julia Thompson. The seating table was a low setting with the tablescape. The table was set with a crockery set of mismatched vintage dinner plates, with copper cutlery and vintage cut glasses. All of these beautiful props were provided by the amazing Amy at Anthology Vintage Hire. Our florists Hannah and Paula did an absolutely incredible job sourcing their flowers, of which most are grown on their own land.
