If you’re unsure whether to have a timeless fairytale wedding or a boho-style day, then why not combine both?
With Love Rose Photography brought together a brilliant team of wedding creatives to bring to life, boho fairytale wedding inspiration. The result? Gorgeous, dreamy and ethereal images, with flowing gowns, Spring wedding flowers, macrame, sublime styling and a romantic cake.
From the pretty stationery to the confetti moment, Prosecco pop, bridal beauty looks, accessories and the dashing suit, you’re going to fall head over heels.
Boho and fairytale wedding styles are timeless, so I wanted to provide wedspo for couples who want to mix ‘n’ match the two, without having a super girly and grand celebration. I worked with a team of talented suppliers and the shoot took place at The Oak Tree of Peover in Cheshire.
The Oak Tree is rustic yet elegant and offers a lovely intimate, countryside feel – it’s somewhere I’ve loved throughout my time in the wedding industry.
When selecting models, it was important for me to work with a real married couple, who shared a genuine connection and were at ease in front of the camera. Marylin and Roland were a dream to work to with and brought a cool, modern vibe to the shoot.
I opted for two bridal looks, to offer a stunning option for both the boho and fairytale brides out there – without going down the traditional ‘fairytale’ princess route. Both gowns were Ronald Joyce designs, supplied by the wonderful Cherish Bridal.
The first offered a soft feminine look – a lace fit and flare, with intricate appliqué petals and detachable sleeves.
The second a sexy A-line, with a daring slit and incredible blouson sleeves for a free-spirited style. A custom veil was designed by Joyce Jackson Veils to match both gowns – a lovely touch and something that can be made unique to every individual.
Sarah Dunn MUA created a gorgeously soft and radiant bridal look for Marylin.
Hair By Gro opted for two stunning, braided styles – one braid with tousled textured, the second a half up/half down, rope braid.
Sarah Vuong Bridal Jewellery supplied delicate hair vines and pins, with gold-plated, pearl jewellery to match.
Roland wore a 3-piece, navy, tweed suit, which complemented both the rustic boho vibes and fairytale aspect.
Over to the styling team, where we emphasised the wild yet romantic concept – think delicate details, but eclectic and untamed. Hint of Vintage Hire, The Red Rose Cake Company, Pink Sherbet Stationery and Silk & Wild worked their magic to create a dreamy scene in each space.
Inside, we focused on the ceremony space and sweetheart table with peacock chairs.
Outside, Hint Of Vintage Hire staged a whimsical seating area underneath a flowering blossom tree. Silk & Wild created entrancing florals for each element, purple and blue colour palettes, dainty single stems and wild foliage.
The Red Rose Cake Company created a romantically-rustic, 3-tiered wedding cake, with natural foliage and texture. Pink Sherbet Stationery supplied a collection that encapsulated the theme entirely – rustic hessian textures, eucalyptus designs and green satin bows to add a fairytale touch.
The styling throughout complimented the sweetheart table, ceremony arch and boho seating and eclectic finishing touches from Hint Of Vintage Hire.
We also made the most of the grounds at The Oak Tree – running through the gardens, daydreaming in the grassy fields, throwing confetti and popping Prosecco! Your Confetti supplied the prettiest, biodegradable, heart-shaped confetti in blue, purple and white to match the colour scheme.
Goodness me, so very gorgeous! I now have all the Spring wedding vibes.
Thanks ever so much to the brilliant team below for sharing this stunning boho fairytale wedding inspiration.
