I am so happy to be sharing Taylor and Clark’s gorgeous summer Blithewold Mansion wedding in Rhode Island. Their day was filled to the brim with colour, love and fun times. Hooray!
From the outdoor ceremony with Taylor’s childhood swing repurposed to the fairy-lit marquee reception, you are going to love it all. There were multicolour flowers, sensational outfits and thoughtful details.
M.Studios, thank you so much for sharing your utterly beautiful images with us.
Clark and I will always look back at our wedding day as the best day of our lives. It was one of the most perfect celebrations from start to finish (even given some harsh HOT weather).
To take it back to the beginning, Clark and I met in 2012 at Franklin and Marshall College. We bonded over our love for Marthaโs Vineyard, Labs, the beach, family, prep school, you name it. From that day on we knew we had something special.
Fast forward to 2019, Clark proposed on Marthaโs Vineyard by the Edgartown lighthouse in April. We set our date for August 29th, 2020 and would have never imagined what would come in that year.
We had to postpone our wedding to August 27th, 2021, but waiting just 1 year longer just made our celebration even more special. You could feel it all around us.
The day started by getting ready amongst the most loved people in our lives. Then we all made our way to the Blithewold in Bristol Rhode Island, where we had our ceremony and reception on the most beautiful grounds on the water. There is something very special about Bristol, RI.
We did our first look at the venue, and our photographers, M Studio Ri, and videographers, NST pictures, made everything so fun and comfortable. Even our pup Frankie made it! Being able to walk the grounds taking pictures was the perfect start to the event.
Then it came time to finally walk down the aisle. Clarkโs face, when I walked down the aisle, was everything you could have ever dreamed your husband to look/feel.
We got married by one of our best friends who had been there from the beginning, Roxana. What made the ceremony even more special was the fact that we got married under my childhood swing set that my grandpa and dad built when we were very young, covered with the most beautiful flowers by Brambles and Bittersweet.
It felt like all of our family could be there that day.
Once we were married the fun began. Blackstone Caterers did a wonderful job. We had the most amazing food (and drinks of course) to start the night off right. You would never even know our cocktail hour was cut short due to some much-needed rain!
We made our entrances and Clark and I had our first dance to Beyond by Leon Bridges. Following some amazing speeches made by the father of the bride, maid of honor, and best man, and the party began.
I canโt even begin to explain the heat and humidity that was present during our day, but it stopped no one from having fun. Once everyone realized they were drenched in sweat, everyone let loose.
The band, Radiance by Wilson Stevens made the party.
One of our favorite moments was the Horrah, the look on Clark’s face I will never forget. The feeling of being surrounded by all of the most special people in our lives celebrating you is something you will never forget.
A testament to how fun the night was, our band did not end with the last song, they kept playing until neighbors complained because they were having too much fun.
At the end of the day we rode off in my dad’s 1967 continental to our after-party at the Bristol Harbor in.ย It was truly the most perfect day of our lives.ย Thank god M.Studios was there ๐
How very special.
Taylor and Clark, I can’t thank you enough for sharing your beautiful Blithewold Mansion wedding story with us.

Beautiful, I love the flowers, the photographer has captured the colours so well, they really look wonderful. The back of Tays dress is as stunning as she is, what a beautiful design. From the wedding to the reception you can clearly see the fun being had by everyone at this wedding. Thank you for sharing.
