If you are thinking of holding a beautiful autumnal wedding and are unsure which autumn wedding colours to use, then today’s editorial feature is going to be so perfect for you. Brought to us by M.Fiore Events, with Lori Young Photography and Laura Williams Weddings behind the sensational contrasting images; you are going to be left feeling super inspired. Think gorgeous rust, orange and red tones with bountiful blooms and billowing fabrics. There were stylish outfits for the whole wedding party, not to mention beautiful accessories, hair and make up looks.
A romantic table was adorned with candlelight, there was a drinks cart and even a semi naked cake decorated in citrus fruit. Also keep your eyes peeled for watercolour stationery and the seriously beautiful styling throughout. I really love the joy that these images portray, it looked like such a fun day.
Hillfields Farm Autmnal Boho Love Styled Shoot
Jenny, Kirsten and I have been collaborating on a few styled shoots and I expressed to them that I wanted to create an earthy autumnal boho shoot, focused on a intimate, fun, celebratory wedding. I wanted to showcase the special connection of not only the bride and groom but the entire wedding party.
The creation of the shoot was very much a team effort. We decided to host an outdoor wedding because why can’t you have an outdoor ceremony in October? This way, we can really showcase the beauty of the season and the venue.
Barn weddings are very popular and choosing Hillfields Farm was the perfect location, as it can be used for intimate micro weddings and it has it’s own contemporary twists. As soon as you enter Hillfields Farm and from the images you can really sense the warmth of the venue.
The amazing albums from Lori Loves Photography and Laura Williams Weddings, along with the gorgeous video by Joshua Andrew Potter, brought the concept to life perfectly. Lori and Laura have very different styles but overall capture the theme beautifully with romantic and elegant photography. They both capture the love shared amongst the models, incorporating the details and the gorgeous surroundings of the venue. Along with Joshua, who’s video captures the intimate setting with fun, striking imagery.
The décor and florals, were supplied by the wonderful sisters Sarah and Jo at Ever After Weddings. They created vibrant autumnal floral designs and stunning décor pieces. My personal favourite was the silver birch archway which again brought our vision to life and enhanced the theme. Sarah and Jo also re-purposed the florals for the table décor, creating a simple yet elegant design, bringing the colour scheme together. Dress It Yourself provided vivid and gorgeous props for the day such as the amazing rugs used for the ceremony. In addition, Lulabelle & Moo tied it all together literally by providing napkin rings and chair back ties which were the perfect touches.
The excellent bridal dress was handmade by Marie Chandler Bridal who really encompasses the theme in her design. The menswear was provide by Keye London, supplying the most stylish suits with exquisite detail for the groom and his groomsmen, especially the groom’s suit matching the buttonhole perfectly.
The amazing cake by Fashionably Cake was simplistic but very effective with seasonal fruit to elevate the theme.
The shoot was complimented by the delicate and intricate stationery by Evie Is Drawing with it’s detailed accents and earthy colours.
Tying the second half of the shoot together, the Prosecco Cart supplied by Let’s Get Fizzical, really highlighted the overall celebratory and fun theme of the shoot.
We wanted to feature models that represent the world we live in now. Therefore, we chose models that people can relate to. Real life couple Ryan and Christina, who are also engaged, were the bride and groom as well as the fabulous wedding party Marco, Jordan, Monique and Muhammad. Their hair was created by Jessica Penfold Make Up & Hair Styling and make up by Emma at SW London Makeup. The ladies really took in the theme and created gorgeous looks that tied all the models together. We had beautiful accessories for the bride, supplied by Bunny Loves Evie, who also created a bespoke headband to match the theme. In addition, we had more gorgeous accessories for the bridesmaids, supplied by Make Me Bridal. Furthermore, we had bespoke hand embroidered hankies by Twinkle In The Eye which was an amazing final detail for the day.
As you may know, autumn is becoming an increasingly popular season to be married in and we wanted to inspire couples who are planning their weddings. I felt very lucky to work with such a talented team who were able to make the vision become reality.
