Planning an autumn wedding and looking for ideas on how to incorporate autumn leaves and autumnal wedding colours? Look no further.
This beautiful autumn leaf wedding inspiration was sent to me by Grace Dove Photography who organised and shot these sensational images at Berwick Lodge. There were the most beautiful flowers, which cleverly were brought beautifully from ceremony to reception.
Not only were the autumn flowers stunning though, but there was also an intricate cake, exquisite stationery, impeccable styling as well as stylish bride and groom looks. Just wait until you see it all.
In the past few years, Autumn weddings have been growing in popularity both for the colours that nature brings and the crisp, yet sunny weather.
As a collective of wedding suppliers, it was important for us that we found a venue that amplified those warm, rich seasonal tones and Berwick Lodge did just that with its period features and timeless aesthetic.
Tara the Celebrant provided a wedding ceremony that was not only indoors, but also under the gorgeous Aphroditeβs Dome to demonstrate that a celebrant led ceremony really can take place anywhere, at any time of year.
She also performed a handfasting ceremony as part of the ceremony which dates back to the Celtic tradition and one of the earliest forms of marriage.
Clare, owner of Cake Daydreams, used sugar flowers in autumnal colours on the wedding cake to create a wild sugar flower style coupled with a stencilled and piped texture which emulated the dresses supplied by Rachel Ash Brides.
When it came to the floral choices for the set up, the choices Megan (from MuckHomenFlorals) made were really inspired by the season and bringing inspiration from the neighbouring woodland.
Megan used a combination of foraged ferns with fresh florals and some dried pieces to not only create an autumnal colour scheme, but to bring in all the texture and crispness of the season.
The ceremony floral converted from pillars into the gorgeous top table floor runner, demonstrating how florals can be used in a more sustainable and cost-effective way.
Grace has always been passionate about creating timeless photography with a romantic flare. Using a real-life married couple for the shoot was important to creating this natural, authentic look.
As a firm believer that motion creates emotion, there was a lot of movement and play that went into the wedding prep portraits and the couple portraits.
Even when it came to showing the beautiful reception space, we went for a dip kiss in front of the top table to keep that wild elopement theme going.
This styled shoot shows what can be achieved when a group of creatives come together, each respecting and complimenting the otherβs work with their own.
Everyone mucked in to support each other and the end result was nothing short of autumnal magic.
How very gorgeous!
Thanks ever so much to the immensely talented team below for sharing these autumn leaf wedding ideas with us.
