When this gorgeous shoot landed in my inbox i literally squealed with delight…. and had those butterflies in my tummy, that’s how amazing it is! From the out of this world photography to the amazing styling and vendors involved, this shoot hits the mark totally and utterly.
It’s dreamy, rustic and colourful, with multiple bridal looks, there is sure to be something to float your boat. My favourite look has to be the rustic bride with the beautiful floral halo resting delicately upon her head.
The florals in this shoot are so inspirational, one with mini pumpkins trailing down and another with wheat. The table scape is so very cute, i adore those mini Christmas puddings so.
Thanks so much to the amazing, Herefordshire based wedding photographer, Gemma Williams Photography for submitting this shoot to me today, here is what she had to say about the shoot;
“I love doing styled shoots and this winter wedding themed one was fantastic fun! My aim in organising the shoot was to involve local wedding suppliers and show that you don’t need to go to the bigger cities for your wedding suppliers, because we have some amazing local talent right here on our doorstep. Herefordshire really does have so much to offer for the perfect wedding! I also wanted to get together some of my favourite suppliers from the summer’s weddings and get the chance to work with them on something really creative where we could all have fun. Another important factor for me was to invite REAL brides (and groom!) from this year’s weddings, rather than use models, as I wanted to keep the shoot looking natural and fresh, in keeping with my photography style, and also to show future brides and grooms that they can look this good in their wedding photographs too!
Mission accomplished on all fronts – we had an AMAZING day, everyone totally enjoyed themselves, and the shoot couldn’t have been more fabulous. The ‘models’ Kelli, Gemma and Dave were stunning, the dresses and headpieces from Lily Oliver Bridal Boutique were gorgeous, the suits from Bill Child Formal Wear were top-notch and the flowers from The Real Cut Flower Garden were perfect. The VW from LoveBus Weddings was gleaming, and the vintage accessories from Lizzie May Vintage really added to the theme, as did the wintery cake and yummy Christmassy sweets from Beccy of Cake Aspirations. The creativity of makeup artist Brooke Price was inspirational, and the hair by Angelina of Bridal Beauty was truly amazing – the looks they created were perfect for the shoot. And all in the wild and romantic surroundings of Wilton Castle – beautiful ruins galore! Even the weather was perfect for us that day – very lucky.
To set the scene, the couple have eloped together in their VW camper van, complete with hampers of cake, treats and champagne. They stumble upon the romantic ruined castle and explore the grounds, but little do they know there is a princess bride living inside the castle too. The evening ends with them dancing inside a candlelit turret. I hope there will be lots of inspiration here for brides who are having winter weddings!”
