A Romantic Twinkling Candle Lit Barn Wedding {2}

Oh my these portraits are so stunning, the winter sunlight streaming through the trees… how heavenly. I love this couple’s reception, the cake and the burgundy details are scrumptious.

Thanks so much again to Emma B Photography for sharing her work today…

The Dress + Accessories…..

Ivory off the shoulder dress with winter bridal coat to cover and flower in hair. Few sparkles here and there, fell in love with it straight away, way over initial budget though, Oops!!

Groom’s attire…

He looked lovely… Morning suit with lilac/burgundy waistcoat and cravatte. Single cream flower buttonhole with rosemary and myrtle sprigs.

You Photographer….

Emma Billsborough and Jo, fantastic photos..

The Details + Decor….

Candles in glass holders with dried nuts/cones and stones for table centre pieces. Lanterns outside. Fairy lights around beams. Candles. Candles, candles. Sheep quiz on each table. Table names were names of sheep breeds. Prizes for right answers

The Cake…

Monster!! Huge white chocolate ripples covering chocolate sponge. Had sparkly stars and hearts. Looked like a pile of snow.

Memorable moments…

All of it, was an amazing day

Advice for other couples…

Take a moment in the night to stand together and watch everyone enjoying the day, it’s really lovely. Just relax, smile and have fun, it goes so quickly.

The Honeymoon….

Lake district for 4 days then week away in the sun.

Thanks so much to Cat and Mike for sharing their day with us today.

Do leave this gorgeous couple some love…. you know you want to ;-) xoxo
