I love the story behind this shoot. Betty and Seng were married in London last year but before leaving the UK they decided to have some photographs taken as a memento of their time here. They told their photographer they wanted to capture the atmosphere of the film “Before Sunrise” with the images, {puts on must watch list} which creates the sweetest set of images.
Thanks so much to the fabulous Victoria Phipps Photography for sharing her images with us today, here is what she had to say about the shoot;
“Betty and Seng make such a sweet couple. He is from Bangkok, she is from Shanghai, but they met entirely by chance in London. They fell in love and three years later tied the knot there! They had three weddings in total (quite greedy, but why the hell not?!). The first was in London last Summer and this quiet ceremony was followed by two more celebrations in Shanghai and Bangkok. Shortly after their british wedding, as they were on the verge of leaving the city which had brought them together, they both decided they wanted a series of photographs to mark their time together in the UK.
I had never seen the film “Before Sunrise” until the night before the shoot, but Betty and Seng both said this was the atmosphere they wanted to encapsulate in their photographs. The film is super romantic! Essentially it is about a boy and a girl meeting for the first time and exploring a city; walking, talking and laughing together as though they had all the time in the world…”
How sweet are these two? Wishing them so much luck with their move :-) XOXO Lou
