I can’t believe it’s the last Wednesday Wedding Wonders of 2016 already, it’s been such a busy year. The blog has seen huge growth in visitor numbers this year, which has been super lovely to see. Plus there has been a large new following over on Instagram; it’s been great to have so much engagement over on the WWW feeds. I love that new readers have found and have been enjoying the blog in 2016.
There have been some super beautiful weddings I have had the pleasure of sharing too, you can view some of my very favourite over here if you fancy a nosy. I want to take the opportunity to thank all of you for supporting and reading WWW this year, it’s been really wonderful to have you stop by. I also want to shout out to the brilliant Whimsical Wonderland Weddings sponsors; whom you can view on the adverts on this page or in the Supplier Love wedding directory. Their support and involvement in the blog ensures its success and I love working with them all. And last but not least, thank you to all of the couples and photographers who have shared images and stories, without them, we wouldn’t get to enjoy so much loveliness.
There is much to look forward to in 2017, with some amazing weddings still to come over the festive season and into the new year. There are new plans and projects afoot that I cannot wait to get started on too. Personally, after a long process of buying our new home, this year will see us renovating and hopefully getting most of the rooms finished. I can’t wait to see my boys grow and make new memories with them over the next year too. I am really looking forward to some proper down time over Christmas and I sincerely hope you have a peaceful and love filled time.
Together with a group of amazing UK wedding bloggers, today we are promoting Help Refugees over on Instagram. Donning our Choose Love T’s, we are sharing the love and hopefully raising much needed awareness for a super charity. Why not join in by purchasing your own T or Jumper and taking a selfie using the hashtags #chooselove #weddingbloggersunited. Let’s ensure that this Christmas and into 2017, refugees during winter and beyond will be cared for and receive the aid they need.
“We are the largest distributors of aid of any grassroots organisation across Europe, funding projects in 22 Refugee camps in Greece as well as camps and settlements in Paris, Turkey, Syria and Lebanon. Our ‘Choose Love’ Winter Appeal has a particular focus on preparing Greece’s 60,000 refugees for a gruelling winter.”

Here at The Green Cornwall we have some VERY exciting news about our new events barn! Over the last 9 months we have been converting an old barn to create a fantastic new function room, Red Brick Barn. It’s hard to believe that our Red Brick Barn was once a cow shed. The red brick walls and original beams have been lovingly retained but the rest is pure sparkle and glamour. The front of the barn has floor to ceiling doors that open fully to views over Kitt Hill and distant Dartmoor. The outside is clad in oak and there is oak flooring throughout.
Pics below are artist’s impressions Devon Interiors but are very close to the real thing!
Happy wedding Wednesday xo Lou
