I have had the honour of working with the UK Alliance of Wedding Planners for some time now. It’s so important to provide an industry standard in the wedding market, and this is where UKAWP come in. They vet their members to the highest of standards and offer training for aspiring wedding planners too. It’s a go to source for couples to find the best of the best in the wedding planning industry, both in the UK and beyond. To find suppliers you trust and can rely on is integral to relaxing and ensuing your day goes off without a hitch.
Their new site and re-brand is so swish, easy to navigate and extremely pleasing on the eye. I also love the accompanying imagery they worked on to establish their new look, super gorgeous. Let’s find out more shall we?
A New Look
We as Directors, along with our Ambassadors and Members, were over the moon when our long awaited re-brand and new website went live at the end of 2016.
We chose the immensely talented Ashley & Malone to design the new site and suite of logos, stationery etc. Key elements of their brief was to maintain a professional look whilst also ensuring the Alliance and its community comes across as highly approachable.
‘We have been aware for some time that we needed to bring ourselves into line with how the wedding industry looks today and it’s been a real labour of love. Our business is complex in that it needs to speak to many audiences including planners, suppliers and of course bridal couples’ explains Bernadette, Education Director.
‘Our members love how the new site looks and have been busily updating their listings in our new look directory. We hope the new branding will also encourage many new planner members and supplier partners to join us‘ says Sandy, Membership Director.
The UKAWP is synonymous with professionalism in wedding planning and prides itself on its excellent wedding planner training courses and its membership for UK and destination planners and supplier partners.
It is owned by us, Bernadette and Sandy. We’ve both run our own small, successful wedding planning businesses for many years and are passionate about the industry and committed to promoting professionalism and sound, honest business practices. As working wedding planners, we know the job and understand the industry. This helps us ensure that our training, coaching and membership scheme helps to provide bridal couples with an unsurpassed source of wedding industry professional, namely our wonderful members.
