Hello :) for my wedding June 6th this year!!! I am making a selfie book of selfies we take throughout the day, My wonderful bridesmaid Laura from the back to the future wedding you featured has made my love bird toppers with a twist, one is from superhero fabric and the other is disney :) I have also made over 200 pom pom flowers too!!! we also have as our center pieces lil victorian style pictures of our fave couples such as Mickey and Minnie, Mario and luigi ect. Have also made our own fairy tale book based on sleeping beauty and made lots of fun props too!!! :) xxxx

I am having a mallorcan rustic and handmade wedding.

The location is by the sea in Orange and lemon groves. So there will be fresh lemonade in giant kilners on wooden crates as refreshment for guests before the ceremoney.

Decorations will include a photo frame area of our favourite couples – our parents and grandparents etc – as well as family members who sadly can’t be with us.

There will be lots of burlap, sea blue accents, Polaroid photos on pegs of us and friends, candles and festival lights for an intimate wedding party :) also a handmade photo booth with hanging frame and dress up props.

exciting !! Xxx

Our wedding will be held in an English Country Barn.
The themes are stars and silver, so that will be running throughout.
My father will be making silver topiarys for each table’s centrepiece, except the topiary part will be made with pom poms.
I will be making this (http://www.designlovefest.com/2013/12/make-it-46/) to add behind the top table during the meal. But it needs to be dismantled to transport and then put up at the venue, which we are currently trying to resolve this!
We will be creating our own photobooth (using black flat sheet, decorations and a metal frame) and well wish tree, as well as offering wedding favours and temporary tattoos.
We will be spray painting different shaped bottles in silver and grey for around the venue, to add visual interest and texture.
There will be plenty of fairy lights and candles, mixing in with our flowers for the day which are jasmine plants and gypsophilia.
Anthropologie mugs spelling LOVE will be filled with gyp and spread around the wedding cake.
Gosh I’m excited! Jess x

Oh, I’m so inspired by everyone’s great ideas! Our wedding isn’t until next August so I am still figuring out exactly what I will do to put my own personal touch on the very classic and traditional touch my fiancé loves.

We are getting married in a country house and they already have the most wonderful collection of paraphernalia, so I really want to build on that and have a kind of ‘eclectic adventurers’ theme. I’ll be going crazy with the gold spray paint to make animal place names for everyone and I’ve my fingers crossed that my attempts to make ‘mercury glass’ votives and candle holders will come off alright! For our table names, I really want to incorporate all the wonderful holidays we’ve had together, and initially I thought I would hand embroider little scenes for all of them, but to be honest I haven’t loved how they were turning out so that one’s still a work in progress!

I’m getting married in July in Portugal and have become Etsy obsessed!! My fiancé’s parents are Portuguese (hence wedding in Portugal) and we are having a vintage travel theme, my invites have mini maps of Portugal and England, a motif that I’m using on my bi-lingual order of service and menus. I picked up a vintage suitcase from an antiques shop to fill with props for our DIY polaroid photobooth, which includes Portugal and Union Jack hand flags! I’m looking forward to next weekend when me and a friend are creating some chalkboard signs – I was excited to find peach and mint chalkboard markers to match my colour scheme! I’ve also found some awesome map wrapping paper from paperchase that I know will come in handy for something… 3 months tomorrow! So excited!xx

My fiancée and I are big fans of Etsy – we would would love to have some of the creative products from these talented people in our wedding :) To see everything first hand and meet the people behind the business would be fantastic.

Our wedding will be in a village hall in Hertfordshire. The underlying inspiration for it is ‘spring’, ‘country’ and ‘fun’! We’re trying to make it as personal as possible…

My Mum will be making the cake (her trials of it so far have been delicious!)
My future Mum-in-law is growing some of the flowers in her garden and will be arranging the bouquets
My father-in-law will be constructing wooden signposts to help guests find their way around!
My Sister-in-law is in the process of designing our invitations
My fiancée and I will be making the name plates, with a little ‘did you know’ section of the guest written on it so that people can get to know each other
We are making bunting to hang here there and everywhere!
I’ve got lots of tissue paper stashed away ready to make dozens tissue paper flowers to decorate the walls

Ideas keep on being generated – but bridal wear, bridesmaids dresses and more accessories, decorations and quirky details are still needed though! So this Etsy fair would be a great way to tick more things off the list :)

Thank you!
