Now that the Winter weather seems to have made way for Spring we can kick back and enjoy those romantic snowy weddings that took place earlier in the year.
Simone and Chris were lucky to have their perfect winter snow filled wedding take place at Ripley Castle, North Yorkshire. They wanted their wedding to have an old Hollywood glamour feel.
I love the navy accents, with the prettiest bridesmaids, a navy sash for Simone’s gorgeous lace dress and lace ribbon tying the fabulous gypsophila bouquets together.
Oh and not to forget a scrummy cake table and epic fireworks!!
Thanks so much to the super lovely Emma Lucy for sharing her images with us today.

Elaine and Alan were lucky enough to have pretty snow fall on their January wedding at House For An Art Lover, Glasgow. It made for the prettiest of images. I love their proposal story, having been together for a year, they planned their wedding within just 3 months.
They wanted their wedding to be romantic, personal and intimate. They had Elaine’s mum make the beautiful vintage inspired cake, pink and green roses and fudge favours.
Elaine looked amazing in her tulle dress and glamorous up do, while Alan donned a kilt in grey spirit tartan. They looked so gorgeous. Such a lovely couple.
Thanks so much to the fantastic Linzie Russo Photography for sharing her images with us today, here is what she had to say about the day;
“I met Elaine and Allan about 6 weeks before the big day and couldn’t believe they had only known each other for a year. But that was like my husband John and I. We got married 18 months after meeting. When you know, you know! We talked about how we had hoped for a sunny frosty day as it would make the photos lovely. But we live in Scotland and more often it is just grey and wet! When the day arrived, the forecast said snow for 2pm…if only! But as I looked out the window it was raining. Typical! Elaine was incredibly calm when I arrived at the hotel, everyone was. Her dress was gorgeous. Totally different to what I thought she would have chosen. Being tall and slim it hung beautifully from her and her make-up was subtle, yet gorgeous. She looked amazing. House For An Art Lover is a fabulous location for a wedding. The staff are also one of the best I have come across. They did everything they could to help make the day even more perfect. Once the ceremony was over I managed to talk them into going outside. The snow had finally made an appearance, however it wasn’t settling. We headed out to the garden and as soon as I started photographing them the snow began to lay on the ground. Elaine was awesome. Dumping the umbrella and embracing the winter weather. It couldn’t have been more prefect. My favourite shot is the portrait of Elaine where you can see a snowflake on her eyelashes. Love it. Elaine & Allan were fabulous to work with and made the wedding an utter joy to photograph. Elaine and I have remained friends since, which is lovely.”

Carli and Ben are gracing these blog pages this morning with their beautiful winter wonderland wedding held at Mythe Barn, Atherstone. Their vision was for a cosy wintry wedding, and i must say it looked so very lovely indeed.
Carli chose a stunning Jenny Packham dress teamed with some swoon worthy Jimmy Choos, while Ben went for traditional tails by Peter Posh, worn by the groomsmen also. They looked just wonderful. I so love the bridesmaids donning elegant black dresses with their fur shurgs and pretty gypsophilia bouquets.
There are so many lovely touches to their day, with an abundance of music entertainment for their guests, sweet monochrome decor and a touch of glamour.

I love today’s couple. WWW readers Misha and Shaun even used one of my little tutorials for their crafty wedding, that is the best feeling ever!!
Misha and Shaun held their winter wonderland wedding in Brighton, having their wedding ceremony at Brighton Unitarian Church followed by a reception at The Terraces Brighton. They wanted a personal DIY feeling to their day which was also a great day for everyone from London.
They crafted hundreds of felt hearts, felt badges for the guests and the stationery. Many of their family and friends got involved in helping out with their wedding including creating wreathes and baking cookies.
I so love the chic grey colour scheme to the day, with the pretty grey bridesmaids dresses complimenting Misha’s amazing fishtail lace wedding dress and fur coat. Shaun found his edgy looking suit from Marks and Spencers and teamed it with a tie found in Topman. They looked beautiful.

Paul and Rebecca were married at Spring Grove House on a really rather wintry day. They wanted their wedding to be without a theme, but with a grey and Cadburys purple colour scheme.
Rebecca wore the most amazing statement ombre ruffed dress by The Couture Company and she looked utterly beautiful. Paul decided on a grey three piece suit with purple tie, which looked just brilliant. They had many lovely touches throughout their wedding, with baby photos, customised m&ms, candelabras and feathers. Of course not forgetting that magical snow, which made for the loveliest of portraits.
