Oh you lucky things ;-) I have a bonus wedding for you this week!! {www} is literally bursting behind the scenes with weddings waiting to be posted on these pages, so i just had to sneak in this beauty of a wedding.
This wedding is oh so special… i don’t think I’ve ever seen such a happier bride, who is beaming all day, and doesn’t she look beautiful in her lace adored gown?! I so love the tee pee filled with lavender, it must smell glorious, i so love Lucy’s bouquet too, definitely one to save for inspiration girls ;-)
Thanks so much to the amazing London based wedding photographer Rik Pennington Photography, for sharing his outstanding images today.. wow! Here is what he had to say about the day;
“When Lucy and Iain first approached me it sounded like one of those weddings that I really wanted to photograph. I photograph a lot of weddings around the Greenwich area, but none had involved a Palladian villa or a tepee! All of the venues and details were stunning with a meticulous attention to detail.
As soon as I arrived to do Lucy’s getting ready shots I knew I was in for a good day. Everyone was so relaxed and welcoming and that proved to be the theme of the day. I take my life into my own hands every time I move a wedding dress, but Lucy didn’t bat an eyelid when I suggested hanging it from an apple tree in the back garden!
Lucy grew up in Greenwich and wanted to walk through the Royal Park with her Dad and bridal party instead of driving the short distance to the church. Lucy was beaming all the way through the park as her and her Dad sang songs to keep the nerves at bay.
All of the venues had special family connections and many of the details were hand-made and locally sourced from friends and family. The reception took place in the most amazing villa in South London. Stone House is a spectacular Palladian villa with a beautiful walled garden and provided the perfect atmosphere for a magical day. Guests played boules in one area of the garden, while others walked the candlelit avenue of lanterns leading to the wall of memories.
The wedding breakfast, speeches and dancing all took place in a very cool open tepee in the grounds of the house. It was a perfect way of keeping the outdoor atmosphere with every table decorated with lavender. As candles started to illuminate the tables it took on a charming atmosphere and the party got going. Thanks to Lucy and Iain for being an amazing couple who didn’t stop smiling the whole day!”
The Proposal.…
In September 2010, down by the river in the French Pyrennes.
I think it’s safe to say you are looking forward to this post :-) I think these portraits in the corn fields are beautiful.… who needs sunshine on your wedding day? You don’t so long as you have a fabulous photographer, your images will be gorgeous.
Clare and Dylan had a real good party by the looks of it, and decorated their beautiful wedding tee pees perfectly. I do love i spring wedding i do :-)
Thanks so much again to Marianne Taylor Photography for sharing her work today. L.O.V.E.
This wedding is so chic, stylish, simple and elegant. Clare and Dylan are one beautiful couple, who come across in these images as very much in love, and how cute is their little boy… awwww. Clare wears this most stunning Gucci dress, without accessories, and her natural beauty shines through. I adore the wedding car and the teepee venue… gorgeous.
Thanks so much to the amazing London based wedding photographer, Marianne Taylor Photography for sharing her work today, here is what she had to say about the day;
“There were so many things about Clare & Dylan’s wedding that I was super excited about: Norfolk in spring, sea air, tepees, Clare’s Gucci gown and the gorgeous flowers by Blooming Gorgeous to name but a few. One thing I wasn’t prepared for however was just how windy it would be up there on the coast! Blimey, I’m glad I had my camera to ground me or else I would have surely blown away. :D
Actually, I don’t think I’ll use too many words to describe this beautiful wedding, I’ll let the pictures below tell the story.
Thank you so much Clare & Dylan, and your families, for letting us share the magic!”
Ohhh this wedding gets me all glowing inside. It’s fabulously elegant with a rustic vibe. Warm and cosy and just gorgeous, i am in love. Set in the beautiful Welsh countryside in an amazing tee-pee the stunning venue of Fforest is simply magical.
Abi and Nathan didn’t stop there, they decorated it with bunting and many personal touches and DIY details. How beautiful does Abi look in her wedding gown, with that gorgeous fur shrug. Thanks so much to Abi and Nathan for sharing their day with {www} today. I just adore the photography, and love that campsite fire shot at the end. Thank you so much to Hannah from Kinver Miles Photography for sharing her wonderful work, here is what she had to say about the day;
“Wow…..what an amazing wedding! So unique and reflected them both so well. It was held at FForest. This venue is a really special place and when Abi and I met to discuss the photographs a month before the big day she said the Fforest had a special karma to her and Nathan, and it does. Abi got ready in one of the cottages on site, it is one of six which sit in a row, the rest of her family had hired the others and the morning was a scene of children playing and family members getting ready in a relaxed way. It was all very calm and lovely. Abi’s dress was hand made by Steph Campos and was simply stunning and her flowers were by Linda Hart.”
“Jo and David first met while cycling on the Downs, so their venue was perfect for their humanist wedding. A field at the foot of Devil’s Dyke was a very dramatic setting for the Nordic Tipi or Giant Hat Kåtas that they had hired from beautifulworldtents for their reception. As the weather was perfect they opted for an outdoor ceremony which made very exciting wedding photography. A white 4×4 was on hand to ferry guests down to the tent and they sat on benches draped with animal hides. It was a very personal ceremony that Jo and David had helped to write and included a song from a group of their friends.
Inside the Tipi was decorated with lots of fairy lights and beautiful flower arrangements that were inspired by the country setting. The wedding cake was a dramatic croquembouche covered in fresh fruit and some amazing food was served by the friendly Sussex caterers, Food Glorious Food.
Despite her elegant wedding gown from the O Zone in Brighton, Jo was game for climbing over a gate into the Dyke for some relaxed portraits of them both. The tent really came to life after the sun went down. The sides of the Dyke were lit up and there was a large fire pit for guests to mingle around. As we left, the guests were in full party spirit and a mini camp site had been set up so they didn’t have far to stumble when it was all over.”
Enjoy this wedding extravaganza.….
