{w} Hi Laura, could you firstly tell {www} readers a little bit about you?
Hi I’m Laura from Purple and Pearls. I live in Birmingham in the Jewellery Quarter, it’s a bit of a melting pot of old and new creative industries and it can be quite inspiring. I love designing and creating the perfect wedding stationery to suit your big day. I’ve got a selection of designs to choose from and also offer a bespoke service to create the perfect first impression when your guests open their invitation.

{w} What do you love/dislike about your job?
I’ve yet to come across anything I dislike about my job, cliché I know but I am loving every second. I love creating stationery to reflect the theme and personality of a couple’s wedding day. It’s also a wonderful feeling to receive feedback from clients who are delighted with their stationery.

{w} How did you get into the wedding industry?
Purple and Pearls started out as an online diary where I blogged about my wedding journey, coming from a graphic design background I knew I wanted to create my own invitations and stationery for my wedding. I loved creating my own stationery and after being asked to design invitations for other people I decided to combine my love of weddings and design to provide fun, unique and pretty stationery.

Are you in the Hertfordshire/Bedfordshire region like me?! Well why not pop down to Tie The Knot this Sunday.
WWW sponsor Alexa Loy Photography has organised a unique and eclectic wedding carnival alongside Binky Nixon Photography and Mr & Mrs Unique at the gorgeous Hexton Manor, Hertfordshire.
It’s free entry, with so much to see, do and inspire. Not to mention a whole host of wonderful wedding suppliers….

{w} What do you love/dislike about your job?
As a woman in the middle of planning her own wedding, I feel like I’m in heaven being surrounded by so many amazing and beautiful bridal accessories. I know it sounds completely cliché, but I honestly can’t think of anything that I dislike about my job….early morning Post Office runs maybe?!
