ENGLISH ROSES

At Bijou my wedding motto is that ‘inspiration comes from everywhere,’ you don’t have to solely look to wedding magazines to find your big day style. The Spring/ Summer 2011 catwalk collections were awash with country garden prints and all manner of flora and fauna motifs. Just look at these current ad campaigns from United Colors of Benetton (shot by Josh Olins) and D & G (shot by Mario Testino), which I’ve taken as inspiration for this piece – English Rose Bridesmaids.

Let’s face it, we all love a party, especially one with your girlfriends.

Hen do’s are becoming increasingly popular and more extravagant, with more creative ways of celebrating your last days of singledom i have found some of my favourite ideas…..

♥ You don’t necessarily need to go for an organised package, hit your local town, go for a meal or a drink. It needn’t be expensive to have a good time on your hen do, so long as all your loved one’s make it you will have a fab time!

Good afternoon! I was working out what to bring you next and couldn’t resist a bit of online window shopping :-) So i decided to bring you some beautiful bridesmaid dress ideas from the high street. I have gone for a nude colour palette this time, but i will work on some other colour options soon :-)

It’s becoming increasingly common for couple’s to exchange gifts on the morning of their wedding day. So i thought i would get hunting for gifts for the man in your life. Why not spoil him? He deserves it no? ;-)

For this weeks favourite finds i thought I’d get a bit sauce on {www}. You’ve found your dress, but i should think most of you will want some fabulous, sexy yet practical underwear to slip underneath. With wedding lingerie it’s tricky to find the right fit. You need something to seamlessly go with your style of dress, fit perfectly {please get professionally measured} and yet feel sexy for your wedding night.

I have trawled the net and found some of my favourites, some which aren’t so practical yet shockingly gorgeous, some very practical,  designer and high street prices and a bit of vintage. So whatever you are looking for there should be something to suit :-)
