Hi there WWWers. Seeing as it’s Easter this weekend i thought i’d create something that could double up as wedding decor or something pretty for your Easter celebrations.

Chair Backs are a great way to personalise and inject a little va va voom into your wedding decor. You don’t need to spend a lot of time or money and can just decorate your chairs rather than all of your guests seats.

Using crepe paper i whipped up some yellow feathers (a nod to Easter) and popped them on some pretty twine. Of course you could change up the colours or materials used too.

Afternoon lovelies, that’s right i finally got my craft on again :-) I spent a lovely afternoon yesterday sat in the sun making this little badge.

This DIY is super simple even for newbie sewers, cross stitch is so easy. I think cute, quirky and personalised cross stitch badges would be so cute at a wedding. Use them as decor, as favours, as buttonholes, the options are indeed endless. I used a black backdrop with a simple heart i sewed freestyle, but you could use a different coloured fabric, initials or even simple shapes. Just have fun.

I would recommend picking up a badge maker or badge blanks if you are making quite a few of these rather than my cardboard backing, a staple gun could be an alternative to the glue too….

Happy Sunday WWWers, are you having a festive weekend? We have had a really great and busy week. I met up with some lovely wedding friends down the pub, we had a friend’s wedding reception, saw Breaking Dawn Part 2 (woo), put up our decorations and had my Christmas meal with the girls.

Oh and one afternoon after watching Elf, i decided to make some paper snowflakes with A, stringing them together to make a little festive garland for my office. This is so simple and really fun, perfect for decorating your home or wedding. Not to mention super cheap and versatile. I went for plain white paper and Christmas twine, but you could totally try mixing it up.

Afternoon WWWers, i hope you are feeling festive this Tuesday afternoon. If not, then perhaps i can help with this little tutorial. A couple of years back i made a Christmas wreath and shared some images with you, but i thought i’d give it another go this year and share a proper tutorial with you all.

This wreath need not be just for Christmas, swap the festive feel for a wedding one, with different foliage or flowers, or choose a wire or foam base instead. All you need is a base, wire and plenty of gorgeous stems. Oh and perhaps a free afternoon :-) I picked up my moss base for a couple of pounds from the local Christmas tree supplier, the foliage was foraged and the wire was already in the drawer.

Every time you come home you will feel so much satisfaction at your homemade creation :-) (more…)

It’s been forever and a day since my last DIY tutorial, i know! Slaps wrist. But here i am with a really simple and easy DIY with a nod to the festive season.

Inspired by pretty snow globes i thought why not have glitter globes all year round, with non festive decorations within. Imagine your jars filled with the things you love that represent you as a couple, next to your flowers or cakes. How cute would that look? Try getting different sized jars with mismatched arrangements and glitter too. I really want to try some with some cute artifical flowers or foliage or perhaps our intials written on some clear plastic within.
