Matt and Annie are back this afternoon… yay!! They had the most beautiful post wedding shoot. After a rainy wedding day, they headed out on a sunny August day to capture some sun shining images. They styled the shoot to perfection, with a bell tent, a camper van, pretty florals and a picnic to boot. WOW.

“Although the rain added to the unique feel of Annie & Matt’s wedding day, they wanted a sunny post wedding rock-the-dress photo-shoot. The day was magical, the weather was beautiful and the couple in a very happy mood. On top of all that they decided to bring the best props from their home and wedding day for a picnic. We quickly realised there’s no ordinary photo-shoot with these two! They brought their canvas bell tent, signs and bunting they made themselves for their wedding and homemade earl grey cupcakes to name a few!

As they had a vintage ice cream van at their wedding they wanted something equally retro so we arranged a VW campervan from a good friend. We had so much fun taking these images and hope you enjoy them too.”

Chris and Rachel married in June but wanted an extra keep sake from their day due to the rainy weather they had. So they decided to have a post wedding shoot the week after.

They had fun and frolics around the beautiful St Ives, i love the contrast between the fun sweet shots and the more dramatic coastline ones. I am sure they are struggling to choose which images to get printed hehe!

“We met Chris and Rachel a year prior to their wedding and we instantly got on; we also shared an enthusiasm for VW camper vans, traveling and exploring new places. Their connection and love for each other was evident from the start; we knew we would love photographing their wedding :)

The post-wedding shoot took place in an around St Ives and it was a great opportunity to be creative and get all the different shots we had discussed without being away from their guests for too long. It was a post-wedding shoot made in heaven with two truly beautiful people, whom have become our friends.”

Rachel; “Chris and I met 6 years ago this September in the little town we live in, Nuneaton, it wasn’t exactly love at first sight, possibly 3rd but after a couple of dates we were smitten! We were pretty fast movers and moved in with each other after 3 months :-) Just over 3 years later Chris proposed to me in the most romantic fashion…..”

David and Clare were married on a dark and rainy day in beautiful Ireland, so when Clare was preparing to dry clean her gorgeous dress, she wondered if she could get some shots in some better, summer weather.

The couple headed to a forest near to Leeds, due to the (naughty) rainy weather we had been having this summer. The rain didn’t put them off, and they have some incredible images to keep for a lifetime. Clare looks beautiful in her floral headdress (i love the flower indeas here) and they brought along a scrummy looking cake too.

“Here goes some cheezy waffle…

David and I were engaged on Valentine’s Day 2011. After a lovely Thai meal out in Leeds we went for a glass of champers in the Mint Hotel’s sky lounge where David decided we should check out the balcony (which I thought was strange given the freezing February night!). There he dropped to one knee and produced a red rose, asking me to marry him. Of course, I said “yes.”

“Ten months of busy engagement celebrations and wedding preparation began. Although we grew up in London and Manchester (but met in Leeds where we have lived for the past five years) our parents and extended families are all from Ireland. We are regular visitors to the Emerald Isle so decided to get married in a small church, St. Patrick’s, in a small village where my Mum is from, in County Mayo situated in the West of Ireland. As a teacher, we were limited to geting married in school holidays so we chose December 2011 just before the new year on the 30th December.” (more…)

Ingrid is Norwegian, and Claudio is Italian and they met in Camden while dancing one night. So they wanted a record of their relationship in London. The amazing film photographer Ed Osborn captured this beautiful couple so effortlessly, the results are beautiful. I do have a love affair with film photography.

Here is what stunning Ingrid had to say about their relationship;

“I was out dancing in Camden when this dark mysterious guy across the dance floor caught my eye. I could see him looking at me too, and for what felt like hours we were both dancing and secretly looking at each other without anyone having the courage to make the first move. My friend was getting quite annoyed at the fact that I was being so shy, so when the opportunity arose she pushed me and I fell into him. I said “hi”, he said “hi” and we just danced together for the rest of the night.

Since London is the place we met, and the place we have spent most of our time together, we wanted to have something to remember this by. We had seen Ed’s previous work and loved the style of his photography. It was a very lovely day with the perfect light and setting, and he had chosen some nice and interesting locations for us. All in all it was a great experience, and we are so happy with the result of the photos as he managed to capture our relationship perfectly!”

I have an unusual for the UK yet totally beautiful feature for you this afternoon, full of gorgeous inspiration.

Martin and Sarah decided to mark their 14th wedding anniversary with an amazing anniversary photo shoot. With stunning vintage inspired wedding attire, amazing cakes a VW Camper and some beautiful flowers. Wow wee this is so very gorgeous.
