It’s the pom pom edit peeps. I love those fluffy balls of fun, they just add so much pretty and colour. Not to mention they are super easy to make, display and are cost effective too. Win win. Plus if you pack them away carefully enough you can reuse or sell on to make a super eco decoration option.

Let’s take a look at some of the brilliant ideas on how to make the pom pom work for your wedding do.

Hanging Pom Poms Galore

Pile them high, string them up. Go sparse or pack them in for full on impact. Mix and match colours or keep your palette muted, why not try ombre poms too? Host a craft party and get a production line going or search for suppliers that sell them online.

Try using fishing wire, twine, string or ribbon to hang these beauties in all their glory.

Alternative Centrepieces

Not keen on floral centrepieces? Think about using poms instead. You could go for wool or tissue paper, they both work really well. Popping them on sticks and displaying them in jars give height. A massive cost cutting exercise, but also pretty time consuming. A pom pom maker gadget is a must have for the crafty couple. Or try using my tutorial on making wool poms the old fashioned way.

Cheery Chairs

I do love a decorated chair. Whether for ceremony or pew end décor or to adorn your guests reception chairs, they really do pack in the personality. If you don’t fancy making too many, why not just add them to your own chairs to make you stand out at the party?

The centerpiece ones are really cute. I was thinking of hanging some from the ceiling, but I think I like them on the tables more. It’s fun because they can be any color that you need them to be. We want a super colorful wedding, so this will be perfect.
