Oh me oh my, Rianna and Tyrone, your nuptials today have me hook, line and sinker. What a way to welcome a Friday, get your Pinterest fingers at the ready folks.
WWW readers Rianna and Tyrone tied the knot on the 11th July 2016 at Green Lane Farm in Surrey. They envisioned a Midsummer Night’s Dream feel to their magical celebrations, complete with a marquee and fete influences. There was a jazz band to welcome guests, one super beautiful flower filled hair do and shot speech drinks. Everything from the lilac hue bridesmaid dresses to the wild blooms and rustic touches were just so dreamy.
I am totally coveting Rianna’s pretty polka dot tulle layered gown, she looked sensational. The gents looked handsome in blue suits and the little flower girls super adorable in white frocks. Just wait until you see the cake, you’re totally going to want a slice of that beaut.

THE PROPOSAL | 4th December 2015, we were Christmas shopping in Brighton, we were in the lanes when Tyrone stopped me at a jewellers and asked me to marry him.
THE VISION | Our wedding was inspired by our love of festivals and village fetes. The vision was a mid summer nights dream with all our friends and family there. We wanted it to feel magical and romantic. Our family is a lover of live music so we had a jazz band on arrival and then a friend singing acoustically into the night. The venue was stunning at Green Lane Farm, Newdgiate. A large piece of land with a large pond and beautiful bridge that the guest walk over to be greeted by the marquee. we lit the pathway with jars and fairy lights and festival lights around the pond to light it up as it got darker.
THE PLANNING PROCESS | The planning was great fun. It was daunting to begin with but breaking it down into steps and setting dates for things to be done by it became enjoyable. I loved researching and finding bargains. My mum, Trudi, was amazing with her organisation skills. It’s good to have someone else to bounce ideas off of. Tyrone and I could talk ourselves in and out of ideas, whereas you need someone that will be realistic and also she’s had experience with what has worked at weddings she’s been to before. Whereas we hadn’t been to that many weddings before.
BUDGET | We managed to stick to a budget of 12K.
THE MARQUEE | Out Is In marquee. They were amazing, really helpful from beginning to end and the marquee was complimented throughout the day and still now people are asking who we hired it from. It looked amazing and truly complimented our festival inspired wedding.
THE DRESS & ACCESSORIES | My dress was from BRIDE in Dorking high street.
My hair was styled by Zoe Jane from Sebastians, Dorking, I fell in love with her style and she got my hair to perfection. I told her I wanted a relaxed hippy chick style hair and she didn’t fail to impress. she was able to plait a trail of flowers through my hair, the flower vine was hand made by my Aunty Kate.
FINDING THE DRESS | Natasha Jane was so supportive and made my experience a breeze, I’m very fussy when it comes to my clothes and I will try on about 10 outfits before deciding on one, so I was very anxious to decide on one wedding dress. However Natasha was brilliant, I also bought my veil from there.
GROOM’S ATTIRE | Tyrone hired his suits from Hugh Harris, Woking.
THE READINGS & MUSIC | Corinthians 13:1, Amazing Grace, Hosanna.
BEAUTIFUL BRIDESMAIDS | The adult bridesmaids were bought from ASOS and the flower girls dresses were from Monsoon. They looked absolutely striking on the day, I was so proud of them all.
THE FLOWERS | My Aunty Kate did my flowers. She is a florist and she absolutely spoilt me with her talent on my day. Even making me a large flower heart photo frame for a photo booth, so gorgeous. She has such an amazing talent for flower arrangements.
THE CAKE | Our cake was out of this world. It’s still being talked about now. We served it up for dessert with strawberries and cream and it went down a treat. The bowls were clean once our guests were done. It was made by the talented Jos Caker. I look forward to having more cakes from this gorgeous human.
YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER | Alline Beatrici was recommended by a photographer friend. After looking at her website we were blown away. She has a true talent for photography, as she’s able to capture memories so precisely that I was sold straight away. Looking at her work was a joy and I was immediately excited to see what our photos would look like. On our wedding day Alline settled into her surroundings with ease and made everyone feel so comfortable. I loved how relaxed and natural everyone looks in the images and that is down to her. The church were very strict on where images could be taken from but somehow that didn’t phase her as she managed to get all those precious moments, because she’s like a ninja photographer, hahaha! I will forever be grateful to her.
THE DETAILS & DÉCOR | We got married at Newdigate church, St Peters Church at 2pm, the guests had a tractor-trailer ride to the venue whilst my uncle Duncan took us newly-weds in his Rolls Royce, drinks and canapé on arrival all supplied by Balsamic Fig.
The Al Stewart Quartet jazz band entertained our quests on arrival, whilst we snuck off for some photos with Alline.
We had hay bales and fire pits outside the marquee which people loved, especially the kids.
My brother made the bar and we supplied all the alcohol. We hired a fridge from Ice Cool Trailers to keep the drinks cold on such a warm day.
We supplied the photo booth props from previous fancy dress parties and a few eBay and Amazon buys and then used a selfie stick so people could capture the moments on their own phones, saving on printing images.
We had a BBQ platter for our main on each table, the halloumi kebabs were out of this world.
Our wedding favours were home made, DIY slow gin and dispensed into little bottles, which our guests shot after my fathers speech in dedication to my god father who passed away before my wedding. The speeches were breath taking.
THE HONEYMOON | We have had our family moon with our two daughters, we went to Menorca, St Thomas. It’s so beautiful there. Lovely to have some time to reminisce our wedding day and share memories.
MEMORABLE MOMENTS | Oh my gosh so far it’s been too hard to pin point one memorable moment, the whole day was the most memorable day. I loved every single second and I still feel so overwhelmed when I think how much our friends and family came together to help our dream of the perfect wedding become a reality. I will never forget the generosity and love we received.
One thing that was memorable was walking home together at 5am and looking back on our wedding, it was truly beautiful from beginning to end.
ADVICE FOR OTHER COUPLES | The best advice we were given when planning our wedding was have at least 1 date night a week where you don’t talk about the wedding at all as a rule. Nearer the end that becomes really difficult but it is so refreshing to take a step back from it all.
