Hen Do Ideas {favourite finds}

Let’s face it, we all love a party, especially one with your girlfriends.

Hen do’s are becoming increasingly popular and more extravagant, with more creative ways of celebrating your last days of singledom i have found some of my favourite ideas…..

♥ You don’t necessarily need to go for an organised package, hit your local town, go for a meal or a drink. It needn’t be expensive to have a good time on your hen do, so long as all your loved one’s make it you will have a fab time!

♥ How about a photoshoot with your girls? Remember this feature on {www}? Shot by Lee Allen Photography….

♥ How about a vintage tea party courtesy of The Vintage Patisserie.. “a place where we turn your party dreams into reality“. You can have a go at 1920s dancing, burlesque, have a tea party or a make over.

♥ If your a country kinda gal why not head to the wilderness… well you could try camping if you are on a budget or why not rent a beautiful cottage, pamper each other and head to the local pub… perfect!

♥ Or why not head to bake-a-boo in London, for specialised hen parties, with special diets catered for, an afternoon tea and crafty activities, this is a lovely do for all the family.

Go Hen is offering a brand new hen do activity, Choc Feast {Whoopie Pies + Cocktails} sounds like girly heaven…

“Gather up your sweet-toothed girlfriends and book yourself on the brand new ‘Cocktails & Whoopie Pie’ Hen activity lesson – if you love cake, and chocolate cocktails (what girl wouldn’t?) then this hen activity is right up your street! This activity is all about putting on your apron, taking to the kitchen and having lots of fun with the girl’s as you learn how to create whoopie pies. This is your chance to get in on this all new American craze, and learn some new skills that the hen can show off to her husband-to-be. It has been said that the cupcake is dead and this new take on the macaroon is next in line for that comfort food fix. This session is an excellent alternative to the more traditional cookery lesson and also meets the same demand as a chocolate making workshop. Talking of chocolate there will be plenty of chocolate martinis on hand for you and your hen’s to sip on whilst creating your masterpieces.”

♥ If you want something a little more chilled how about some cookery lessons at Ashburton Cookery School with a beginners cookery weekend from £289.

♥ Are you a little more adventeruous and sporty? Then you will love Go Ape, with centre’s all over the country you will have a real giggle with your girls.

♥ Or perhaps the best option is to let your bridesmaids take control…. give them the guest list and leave them to surprise you = no stress, no decisions, just go and let your hair down!! :-)

Whatever you decide, let your hair down and have a good old party xoxo

love these ideas – would love to have a hen do at the vintage patisserie! We are planning a ‘sten’ do away for the weekend (stags and hens) and then having seperate evenings out too xxx

Whoopie pie and cocktails sounds absolutely genius! However my lovely maids have already organised cancan dancing which I’m really looking forward to. The rest of the hens also seem keen. My mum is an oap but she’s already gone out and bought some high heeled dancing shoes!
